How you do it? Totally up to you. Some people feel a "need" for a sensation of "smoke" in their lungs as they did when smoking. The reality is the majority of the nicotine is absorbed in the linings of the oral cavity so you don't need to lung inhale to get your nic. For a lot of people lung inhaling doesn't go well anyway when they are starting, as it's sort of an "insult to injury" thing after years or decades of smoking, They have to get their lungs clear before tackling lung inhalation or else they end up in worse hacking fits than they ever had from smoking.

Personally, I used to be a deep lung inhaler when I smoked and wasn't looking to duplicate the experience with vaping. Don't miss it.
