Two years next month since my last cigarette. I went from 40 a day down to 6 two years before that, as my SIG below indicates. My only regret is that I didn't realize it would be so easy to quit completely the first two years. I thought I had to have one after a meal or with a cup of coffee.
August 28,2010. NYS started an increased cig (sin) tax 9/1/10 and I bought an ecig to stretch out my 'real' cigs. Ended up quitting by mistake 3 days later because I couldn't stand the disgusting things anymore
Smoked for 42 years a pack a day. Last five years two packs a day. Been vaping for seven months smoking four cigarettes a day for 3 months. Last 3 months 1 smokes one a day. Last smoke two weeks ago. Will never smoke again. Totally used to vaping only now.
January 31, 2014. Woke up that morning, got my coffee, lit up a cigarette. It was disgusting. Put it out and immediately added my banner. Not one puff since.
It's gross to me. The last time I smoked a full one was a few weeks ago; a friend hand-rolled one for me and I said why not. Gross.
On my own, I bought a pack of my old Djarum Blacks over the summer when I was going through a hate-everything-ecig phase (I was in bad shape with overfilling cartos, using blus, basically trying everything on my own and failing). I didn't finish the pack and found our local ecig shop not long after
Well, I had one cigarette sometime in the Spring of 2012. My official quit date was 3/4/2012, but I did have that one cigarette within a few weeks after that date. None since then. None wanted since then.
