Okay, I'm pretty much a newbi. Only been vaping since 7-23. My at home set is an ego t 1100 mah with a Davide bcc and my at work set is an ego cleancig 650 with ce4. I was a closet smoker, so I stealth vape at work. I was a smoker, feels kinda good to say "was", for 27 yrs and the last time I quite was 5 yrs ago and I was so embarrassed I started again I went closet smoker.

So I have decided once the investment equals out I've decided to take the plunge and not buy chinese, and go ahead and go with Provari.
My question is. How long have some of you been using the same Provari, without having to send it in for service?

I see people post "it will last you for years". I would like to hear real life stories of how long people use the same Provari.

Thank y'all in advace for the replies and stories.

BTW i really enjoy this forum. It has replaced TXCHL forum for my most visited site.

one of mine is around a year old, it has cracked two tiles at work and been in the rain many times. broke wel over half dozen pyrex tanks with it, and almost daily i bump my desk and here "THWACK" when it falls over.
i even took it apart so i could refinish it, and still runs and functions like the day i bought it, even the button feels the same as it did new.

my other was bought used and has been in my possession about 6-7 months and the receipt the owner sent with it shows it was around a year old when i bought it, it still also works as new.

i have others of unknown age. one is a version1 chrome so def a few years now. when i fire it up it works flawlessly.
they will take a beating, and with above average care they should last indefinitely

My blue v2.0 full size Provari is 1 year old this month. Mine has also survived falls on tile floor that shattered a couple of pyrex tanks. I have a bad habit of resting my Provari's on my lap when I drive (they roll out of my reach on the passenger seat). I've forgotten they were there on at least a few occassions when getting out of the car and they have landed on the pavement. The blue Provari has a couple of tiny dings where the carokote paint has chipped away, but no scratches.

My black v2.5 Mini I awarded myself for my 1 year smoke-free anniversary 4 months ago. It has become my favorite due to its versatility as an out & about device and as a worthy companion to its bigger brother in multiple extended modes with the Tatroe extension rings.

Both are used on a daily basis and have performed flawlessly.

I often muse that when my children one day lay me down to rest in my casket, it will likely be with one of my Provari's still in my hand, blinking light letting me know that its battery needs changing.

I bought 2 in March 2012 as well, and just ordered a 3rd :)

Never had an issue with either of them. My satin black one still looks brand new, not a scratch on it and logo is perfect. I guess I'm lucky that I've only dropped it on carpet or it might have a nick or two.

Our chrome one is also mint, aside from the logo - it has faded quite a bit, but from what I understand that was an issue with the chrome line of provari's and one of the reasons they stopped offering them?

Only errors I've ever had pop up were due to coiling errors and dead atomizers. Provari itself has never been an issue.

Mine's only a couple of months old (mini). I too have had it roll off the table onto the hard floor and dropped it on a sidewalk. Still looks brand new and performs the same as it did out of the bubble wrap :).

You just don't read of many failures, and when you do it is followed up by the reports of great service from Provape to get them going again. These things are just solidly built.

Reading these stories have given me a bit of a good "fuzzy feeling" about my recent Provari purchase. No regrets here.....
Several vaping friends that have tried mine really do think it vapes better than their Mods and all of mine ( we have been moving my carto tank from device to device)...... no kidding. And some of them do not know that it cost me more than the 30 to 50 bucks that Ive spent for most of my Mods.

I've had mine since June and it's on it's way back to ProVape for repair. Yesterday it wouldn't turn off...instead it continued to throw an E8 error code or the display just went off leaving it still on. . After contacting ProVape they told me to send it back for repair. It's been babied since the day I got it and never been dropped or abused. I'm DISAPPOINTED to say the least!!!

I guess we'll see:(. I was on the verge of ordering another one but now I don't know if I even want the one I've got!!!

Sorry to hear about your Provari. Rest assured, having a problem with a Provari is rare, sorry about your bad luck. Good thing to know is that Provape likely will have your Provari back within 1 - 2 weeks good as new. You wouldn't get that kind of service from just any manufacturer. Let us know how long it takes and if you are happy with the repair and service.

Mine has suffered a few drops due to negligence on my part since I received it in very early June. No problems so far, no signs of trauma and one of the drops was about 8 feet onto some concrete. It fell on the extension cap, but I will be damned if I can tell where. It did leave a visible mark on the concrete....
