I don't know about what "the norm" is for what you're supposed to do, but we normally try to let them sit at least overnight. But there's been times in a pinch where I'l try to just blow them out really really good and refill & use it right away.

your welcome.. I bought enough that i can keep a few drying and carry a back up with me so never really worry about that.. dipping in grain alcohol seems to dry out in 30 mins though.. heard that the hair dryer works good though..

have seen posts about putting them in the oven.. i would not do it myself since oven temps are different all over the oven unless you have a real nice oven..

lol with as craptacular as my oven is, i'd really be afraid to put them in there.
my daughter seems to be the only one that can get the thing to bake with out burning what ever is in there.
