I found that the lower nic levels are not cutting it for me. I just ordered the 36 because im a 2 pack a day smoker (well was). I still have not given up analogs completely yet. There are a lot of learning curves to the ecig and I think I have about figured it out. I use the regular size manual batteries. I do not like the autos because I want to just be able to take a puff and not have to puff to get it going. So I would advise manual batteries. If you get a personal charging case and 2 manual batteries, you will be set for the day and night. The great thing about that is it all fits in the little case and your covered. Another thing is the flavors. Starting out I would get the cowboy because to me it is similar to the marlboro lights only better. Anyhow if there is anything you need during your transition, just ask on here, everyone here has been a huge help to get me this far.

I started with the UU Automatic kit which includes 2 batteries plus a manual passthrough. I would not be comfortable with less than 2 batteries and I thought if I lost or damaged one, I would head right for the analogs during the charge cycle of the remaining battery. I was also paranoid about driving and vaping a black automatic/orange LED regular battery thinking some cop might think it's a crack pipe so I bought a white automatic/orange LED shorty for driving around town.

I decided to start refilling my vaped pre-filled cartos and that's when bought a regular manual. I am careful but don't want to chance any juice leaking into my autos, so I start off every refilled carto on a manual battery or P/T first. My cartos always outlast my batteries, and when it's time to replace the battery, I'll use an automatic for the remainder of that carto's life because I feel it's safe from leakage by then. I have recently acquired 2 additional regular manuals, so now I'm up to 6 batteries (3 auto/3 manual). Do I really need all that? No, but I do like autos and manuals for different reasons and now I have a very comfortable amount of batteries for me.

I am one of those that literally has dozens of batteries. I have 6 auto xls, 21 manual xls (8 of them are the older style 13 min cut off which I don't use but keep in case of emergency), 5 regular manuals, 2 auto manuals, 1 old style manual pass through, and 2 of the new style manual pass throughs.

I have this image of you with 2 bullet belts (ala rambo) in criss-cross fashion - only instead of bullets you have 40 batts just ready to be vaped :)

OK, I guess I should lay off the mountain dews this late at night

OMG....I just counted....I have fifteen batteries and one on the way. And they all work!
I am constantly vaping and at least now I am pretty sure that I have some backups!
The reason I have another one coming is I just loved my XL black battery, and I lost it.
I HAD to replace it, didn't I?

But of course !!! ;)

I have 12 batteries:

2 regular autos (I don't use them anymore because they give me a headache)
2 regular manuals (1 is from my original kit from Feb, the other I got from the last freebie)
2 xl full logo manuals
6 xl single logos manuals

However, I have 2 usb chargers and 2 wall chargers, but 1 of the wall chargers is giving me problems.

I have 5 batteries and 2 USB PT's. 2 manual standards and 3 auto standard batts. I've thought about buying more, but I don't really need anymore for myself. I loan them out throughout the night when one of my newly vaping friends runs out of power on their battery. I usually carry two cases filled with 4 carts each and two batts each.

We all vape a bit differently and I was a pack a week smoker. You may need more or less depending on your circumstances.

I have 2 manual Shorty's and 4 auto Shorty's. I like the shorty's due to their size and I prefer the autos because they are so easy. I never really liked the manuals due to having to hold the button while vaping, which to me, still feels kind of weird. I have however run into problems with the shorty's due to the fact that they are so new. I have a few of the original shorty batteries and a few of the newer shorty batteries and prefer the newer auto shorty's. I keep the manuals with me just in case! I also have 2 regular cases and 1 PCC Case. One of the regular cases I transformed into a carts only case which holds 8-9 carts and one battery. The other regular case I have holds the 2 manual batteries and 4 more carts. Not that I need to carry this many carts with me, but I would rather be safe than sorry and have more than I need just in case. LOL!!! I plan on getting a few more Auto Shorty Batteries soon due to the fact that the original/older shorty batteries don't last very long, need too much adjustments, and malfunctioning. Not sure how I even got the original auto shorty's in the first place because I ordered all of the auto's within a few weeks time and was somehow sent 2 old and 2 new! I don't really like the XL because it is sooooooo lenghthy! Regular's are ok, I just really like the shorty!
