How many clicks to turn on/off most vape devices? Test Thread #1

Solution
The voting is just for the OP to help them determine what others think is the best solution. Of course, that won't be helpful in all situations.

Yeah... I can see times that it May. And I can see Times when it Won't.

BTW - Do you see any Voting Buttons in this Thread? Which Post # did you Originally choose as a Solution?

Ummm... no clicks!

On my tube mechs, I simply unscrew one end.

On my mech squonkers, yank the battery.

And Classy is right, the answer to everything is 42.

Being serious now...

Your thread doesn't have up/down voting like the other thread does.

So, how/when does XF know what should be posed as a question???

You should know that by now.
Thank you for testing this out @UncleJunkle :)

OK, so as the OP, I do not have the option to upvote but i have the option to mark an answer as the solution.

I will mark your answer as the solution so lets see if it drops out of the questions tab.

You can delete this thread if you want.

It asks you if you wan tto post a thread as a question IF you post a thread using a CREATE button on certain pages, like the home page for instance.

oh, but it did put the solution under your question in here
...I wondered why my post was in here twice !

Yeah that's how all the Q&A and support sites are in case the solution is on page 400 lol. So someone who has the same question can see the solution right away.
And marking it as Solution did not make it go away from Questions

Yeah, maybe it takes so much time before it drops off. Seems to me like a big waste of space in the database to keep it there forever.

And in the other thread I up voted you (UJ) and @zoiDman.

Did you guys get a notification, or something, for that?

I only got a notification that I got an upvote achievement but it didn't say where not did the link take me to that thread. Then I went to the thread and noticed my upvotes still showed "0".

Now I just went back and see that I do have an upvote. I guess it takes a while for the forum to show the vote or something. Cache clearing?

@ShowMeTwice I just marked one of your responses as the solution. Tell me if you get an alert of it, not just the acheivement alert.

I just checked through my alerts again and I defeidnitely didn't get that notification, only a notification that I got the upvote achiement award, but no indication where that upvote occured.

    Wonky.

Could be they are working on stuff in the backend and it's messing with some functionality. It's possible.
