I see a lot of people talking about a bunch of different flavors that they vape. Gets me to thinking...

How many different flavors do you consistent vape? Do you have 1 or 2 or 3 staples and have others that you vape whenever the mood should strike you? Or are you like how I was with cigars - a bunch of different ones?

I'm still new to vaping. My all-day vape is Menthol Ice. I regularly vape on Tiki Juice too, but it's more of a sitting down and relaxing or changing the flavor vape. I've got several 7ml bottles of other stuff to see if they'll either replace one of those two, or become another flavor in heavy rotation.

Menthol Ice, Tiki Juice and HX3 were my first 3 flavors. Coincidently, they're my 3 favorites by far. I'll pick up a menthol sampler pack when I either re-up on my regular juice or the spinner battery comes out, whichever comes first.

How many juices do you routinely vape? What are they? Just curious if the vaping community is like the cigarette community where everyone's got their one, or like the cigar community where most have their staple and routinely smoke other cigars.

I find with vaping, the flavor begings to mute over a prolonged period of time, so it helps to have different mods and different juices to keep things happy-like and wanting to have an analog.

If they start to taste muted, make sure you drink plenty of water while vaping, the PG is a humectant and can dry out your mouth, making it harder to taste ANY juices. This happens to pretty much everyone.

Interesting. Here I was thinking my taste buds were off sometimes or my battery was low. Maybe a combination of all that.

On another note, I think you start to lose flavor when the batteries are low, correct? If so, do the twist-type batteries rectify this? Either way, I'm curious enough about the twists to order one when they become available.

Those batteries go low, too ;) The drain faster if set to higher voltage, in fact. Get a larger battery for longer vaping.

Look up "vape tongue", haha. Also, the voltage can affect flavor, the twist just let's you choose what voltage you're using at the expense of battery life.

I am definitely someone that changes flavors over the course of the day. I have 5 that I adore and must have at all times. They pretty much cover all of my taste buds with one tobacco type, one drink flavor, two desserty flavors and one menthol/peppermint.

I also notice big differences in what type of hardware I am using and can absolutely tell when my batteries are getting drained. Less flavor, less "punch". Pass-throughs are great for solving that problem. In fact, I am buying yet another one very soon.

All of the smaller batteries will degrade as they discharge. If you want longevity and consistent vaping, go with a Variable Voltage or Variable Wattage mod (or a mechanical with a Kick). For around $40-50 (a Vamo for instance), you can enter an entirely new world of vaping. You can adjust the voltage/wattage to suit your juice (you will discover that different juices have different "ideal" power requirements) ....flavor will not be an issue again...

As to the original question: I vape a large variety of juices throughout the day, mainly Boba's or Gorilla juice (original, or a couple of DIYs that are very close), but I mix it up with a couple of citrus juices as well (a DIY Pear/Mellon is probably my favorite at the moment).

Since I roll my own juices most of the time, I experiment a lot with new combos, so it varies....

Come over to the Dark Side....we have Vapor! :vapor:

My Tiki Juice seems to need more "cooking" to get the maximum amount of flavor than my other juices. By that I mean I have to hold down the button for a second or two before I start my drag, whereas others I start taking a drag a second or so before pushing the button. I figure a twist would remedy that.

Only been at this 3 weeks, so I'm not trying to go too crazy with different devices. Add very limited financial means, and the $30 or so twist battery when it comes out should be more than good enough. I've got no complaints about my gear; it's simple and priced right. Just a little fine tuning and curiosity is all it is. Maybe when things turn around financially I'll grab a ProVari or mod that everyone raves about to see what I've been supposedly missing.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the VV batteries are regulated...they will provide the same voltage consistently during the charge time. In theory the flavor will remain the same at expense of battery life.

Regulated, yes, but VV means "variable voltage"; so you can crank up/down the volts to get more/less wattage through your atomizer and get a better vapor. You do lose battery life if you crank it up for higher voltage, however with a pass through you can get your preferred voltage as long as you like, assuming it's plugged in.

I'm new to vaping also and was an avid cigar smoker! Arturo Fuente Exquisitos (2 per day) was usually was my every day smoke. But I've a fine tobacco shop (mostly cigars but good selection of pipe tobacco too) that I used to visit several times a week. They were always getting new stuff in and keep top notch in stock always. Even Padron Family Reserve No. 44, 45, 46, 40th, 80th etc. etc. [The 44 is a $35 cigar by the way. But you probably already know that]. So I of course would sample new 'gars frequently.

I was just wanting to cut down on 'gars a bit but vaping has unintentionally killed my desire for them. Not saying I'll never have one again. But I've purchased the Halo Tobacco and Gourmet samplers and have a couple of faves but am kinda like a kid in a candy store for sure! :p :p Today I've vaped Turkish Tobacco and Belgian Cocoa, two of my faves. Quite a bit of Kringle's which I initially didn't like but now I think a bottle is on the acquisition list. A couple puffs of Midnight Apple (need another sample), a puff of Prime 15 (good but not for me), few puffs of Malibu(jury's still out), and a few vapes of Hoosier Vapes Crunchy Berries (like Crunch Berries cereal) and Cardinal Cinn-(Wow!! Strait up blast of....more or less...sweetened cinnamon essential oil!!)

The Menthol Sample pack is on my acquisition list too! With a few other brands I'm curious about also..

So many juices..too little time (and resources). :( But I'm enjoying the ride!!! :thumb:

I got the variety pack when I ordered my G6. I just placed an order for a 30ml of Tribeca, but right now my favorite is the Belgian Cocoa mixed half and half with Kringle's in a mini-tank. Also have some midnight apple and twisted java on the way, plus the bottle of Torque that I won in the numbers thread. Now I need better hardware!

I love cigars too. Fuentes and Padrons are great cigars that you can't go wrong with IMO. Never had a bad or even mediocre one of those brands. It's funny how people get stupid about Cuban cigars. There's some great Cubans for sure, but there's a lot of great stuff that's not Cuban. Davidoff and Avo make stuff that's fantastic. I'm a huge Avo maduro fan.

I used to go to Montreal every year. I was a kid in a candy shop in Blatter & Blatter. I'd go in with a plan and , and 2 minutes in it was out the window. I'd have handfuls of Cuban Romeo y Juliettas, Upmanns, Bolivars and Montecristos. You could always spot the American shoppers who knew nothing about Cuban cigars because all they bought were Cohibas. I always thought Cohibas were the most overrated cigar, especially the Cubans. There's very little difference between most Cuban Cohibas and Dominican Cohibas. Don't get me wrong, Cohiba makes very good cigars, but not on the level of the others I mentioned IMO.

I've been sampling a bunch of different stuff, but the only ones that've really stuck are Menthol Ice and Tiki Juice. Everything else has been good, but not something I'd buy 30ml of. The jury's still out on HX3 for me.

I got all the sample tins, and have been testing each out a couple a day. Some of the ones I thought I would never like have become my favorites, like Belgian Cocoa, Midnight Apple and Malibu. Not sure I can commit to any particular flavor, save maybe the SubZero and HX3, so I will order the big bottles of those along with more sample tins. Having plenty of tanks makes trying out different flavors easy.

ooooooh....How's the HX3?!

Love it. Tobacco with a hint of menthol really does it for me. I don't quite agree with some of the after tones in the other tobacco flavors, but I really like the little bit of menthol. Vapor production and throat hit is also outstanding.
