How many drops are in a ml?

I read that prefilled kr8 cartos usually have 1 ml of juice in them. I fill premium blanks using FSUSA RY5 out of 30 ml bottles and want to avoid over or under filling.

When I refill, they hold less. I would like to get recommendations for optimal life of the cartos. I think I may be wasting juice and losing carto life from overfilling.

The standard rule of thumb is 1ml can equal 20-30 drops. To be accurate get a syring - fill to 1ml. I have found that after the first fill almost all cartos take less the next time. I think the filler gets saturated and therefore will hold less the next time.

I never do true refills on a carto, but just keep topping off as I use it...making sure it stays wet. I'll add a few drops, wait a bit then look down through the carto to make sure I can still see out the battery end. I repeat this 'til the battery end opening appears to be getting "cloudy" with juice then blow out the excess and it's good to go. The Joye 510 cartos are made differently so this won't work with them but should with most KR8 styles.

Thanks for the feedback. I do drip when I can at home. During the week I have to fill at night for the next day so I try to do optimum fills to get the most mileage without overfilling. I use a pt at work & home pretty heavy going thru 3-4 1/2 fully filled cartos a day.

BD syringe is 28 drops. other tb syringes can be 21-22
