Use just a tiny amount of cotton if you're going to be testing flavors. I use a small amount even if I'm using one flavor. Cotton does a good job of keeping liquid evenly dispersed through wick, so more cotton on your deck just means more liquid is going to sit in them, not be used, and gets heated up through heat transferring throughout wick.

I recommend using a nano coil (compressed <18awg diameter) on a bed/cloud of cotton (coil rests on top of wick). That's the easiest method of sampling flavors for me... doesn't involve getting wick cut right to go in coil.

I usually just keep a little extra cotton I'm not going to use to soak up any residue that might still be in atomizer. I occasionally rinse it off, but I don't see a huge difference in going through that effort. Soak up what you're done with after wick's removed, and dry burn coils. Rewick, and go.

I'm not familiar with that dripper, but it doesn't look like it will hold a ton of liquid without flooding coil. Just soak wick, and see a drop at a time with the cap off the first time.

Enjoy:)

Help!

I just received this new toy - vapeday - Cyclone - Clone.

Now, what do I do with it? I understand that the drops go inside in the "coil cave".

How many?

I bought it to taste test new DIY juices thinking that this will allow less waste.

How does one clean this between flavors?

soak the wick and allow for a drop or two on the deck. any more than that and it will be flooded (which isnt the end of the world, just vape it up)

after you vape up most of the liquid, youll likely re-wet the wick with maybe 5 drops on that particular RDA.

the biggest thing to keep in mind with that RDA is that it is rebuildable, and the initial build you receive installed might not be the best functioning build. i find that factory-installed builds in RDAs are set up poorly. ive gotten some that were usable, some that were set up decently, but most of them were set up terribly.

test your coil resistance when you first get it. if the ohms are not stable or if you notice any type of off-flavor, the build is likely the culprit. take a look through youtube for some tips on how to build a coil for an RDA. micro coils are the best IMO, so look into that. pop a micro coil in there with some cotton wicking and youll be off to the races. but take your time and do it right. not only can your vape suffer, but you could have a serious problem on your hands if you dont know proper battery safety.

i apologize if you already know all of this, but its worth reiterating. and have fun with your new toy. theres a lot of potential here.

EDIT: forgot to mention- inspect for any machine oil residue in or on the atty. if you notice an odor or see/feel any oil/material left-over from the machining process, wash the heck out of the atty so you dont vape something foreign. this might mean tha tyou cant use the factory installed wick which might not be what you expected, but in the long run, youll be much happier with the performance. cheers.
