How many ecigs can you make?

9 sitting in front of me right now and each of them with different DIY flavors. I vape my vanilla custard, orange delight and Sgt. Rock Menthol most often but enjoy switching up the others all through the day. I think that is why I've never gotten vapors tongue.
Currently 12 in use (all different diy flavors), another 25 could be on line once filled and battery installed.
Why would that be a problem, when many tanks, RBAs, clearomizers, etc. hold 2mL-4mL or less? If someone has even 100mL of eliquid...that's enough for 50 of them @ 2mL each. Many people on here, especially those who DIY, probably have much more than 100mL onhand.

So if you put together as many setups as you possibly could, sit them on a desk in front of you, have them all turned on and ready to fire... How many setups could you have fully functional, ready to vape sitting in front of you?

I "could" possibly do 8 if I dug around and found some of my use-to-use. I keep 4 going all the time, 2 in hand and I switch those 2 for the other 2 as battery levels dictate. I carry 2 at a time to hold heat build up to a minimum. I've all but abandon every thing except Mini Protank 2s. I like the way they "smoke" and I don't have nearly as many "no atomizer" notices on my batteries.
I'm sure I could put together a whole bunch if I tried digging through all of my old stuff and started assembling and cleaning, but right now, 2.... which is all I need as long as they are reliable, which they are.... never got the "whole army of vape mods at the ready" thing... my most favorite 2 are my all day every day and that's it... everything else is just fluff... to me anyway....

(Sounds like a lot, but it only takes 9 mods and 21 tanks to accomplish that)

ok for all of those with more than 5 or 6 or so in current rotation I have a question, WHY? I mean why... not looking to stir up any controversy I'm just really curious as to why anyone would want or need like 10 or more in rotation... they can't all be just as good as each other so why even bother to use one that you don't like as much as the one you really do like more? I get the whole flavor thing, but still, within reason I guess, just never understood the whole need for so many mods in rotation at the same time, to me just a few good mods is all it takes.

EDIT: ok I'll admit that I did originally miss the fine print of the post above mine indicating that the 189 was derived from the possible combo's of 9 mods and 21 atties, the 189 sparked me to ask the question in the first place but it's still a valid question I guess...

For me personally It's a hobby. Collecting and building is fun. Also since I started a review channel I need stuff to review and since it takes weeks to form an opinion I need to use several things at once for a fair comparison and fair assessment. Also it allows me to use several flavors at once so I don't get burned out on a single flavor. But if I'm out and about I just take 1 mod or at work I usually take 2 mods so I don't need to carry extra batteries and I can switch flavors. But I'm sure everyone has their own reasonsok for all of those with more than 5 or 6 or so in current rotation I have a question, WHY? I mean why... not looking to stir up any controversy I'm just really curious as to why anyone would want or need like 10 or more in rotation... they can't all be just as good as each other so why even bother to use one that you don't like as much as the one you really do like more? And an mpv 2 which I no longer use but is charged and ready to go.
All have tanks on them.
Haven't bought a new setup in 7 months so will be looking to buy very shortly. I get a new one every 6 months or so. Might get another kbox70 . Love that device.

I have leaving the house setups and staying a home setups.
As for the original question. I have 14 batteries so split that up between regulated and mech plus 16 internal batteries mods in rotation.

Speaking only for myself, a lot of my build-up was for future proofing. Not just for possible diminished availability, but for probable, substantial price increases. That also pushed me into RTA's to learn building my own should factory coils become rare or over-priced. I'm at my comfort level, some got more, some got less. Since I have the gear......
From my first day vaping, I have never, ever stayed with one ADV. I looked long and hard for flavors I really, really liked. I now have 12 - 15 top flavors that I may like to vape for a while, but never just a couple for a day. After smoking the same cigarette over and over for 40+ years, how can I not love being able to change flavors whenever I want. Add to that, I have the gear giving me the option to do that when and how I want. And learning how best to build and wick a number of RTA's and drippers (I want to know how before I'm forced into using them), I can't figure out how to do that without using them.
So with all this gear, I find that some work better depending on what I am doing. Small, single 18650 if working outside, dual if I'm heading out for the day, 200 watt if using a TFV8 or a 0.15Ω build, etc. And maybe it is just in my head, but I am convinced some flavors just work best in a certain tank/build while maybe not good at all in another.
So, bottom line, I have the gear and I have some great juices. At my age, why put anything away for later if I don't make it "to later?" I got it, I'm gonna use it!
But that's just me!
Well because of this thread I realized the amount of tanks/RDTA's to MOD's is unbalanced so time for more MOD's!
