Please excuse the slight chuckle while reading this thread. Six months ago I would have added my $.02 worth on the "what I stockplied". Here is what I've learned in the interim:
1. My fav nicquids have changed at least 20 times since then....gave "tired of fav's" to daughter
2. My mg dropped every month for 6 month till I reached 0 mg....450 ml of 100mg Nic. given away to daughter plus all the
premade higher mg I had sitting around.
3. I developed a sens. to PG after 3 months .......waste of 500 ml of PG, given away to daughter
4. I vaped 2 X as much juice when I started vapeing..... no need to have 300 ml on hand any more(that's almost a years supply)

All-in-all the one that seems to have benefitted the most from my need to stockpile was my daughter, vapeing has been very cheap for her (and I was happy to do it).
I don't consider all the flavoring I have as stockpiling but as variety.
I would say the only thing I have not regretted stockpiling are my atty's, cartridges and batteries. Luckily I have stuck to my initial hardware choice, a big batt ego type. I made the decision to stick with that to save the "oh look, something new" cost.

I think the worst thing that I have not prepared for is a power outage for more than a few days. Need to get a solar powered battery charger!!!!

I've got that one covered with an 8000 watt generator. Have to have it around here. We lose electric a couple days each year. D--n tree huggers. They are always trying to keep the Electric Co from cutting down trees close to the power lines. Some years back we had a really good ice storm and was without electric for 1 week. Temps got down below 0 degree F every night. Glad I had that generator to keep the hot tub going. Also was without electric for almost a week after the Good Friday tornado this year. A little overkill just to charge batteries.

Here's a question: how many are well stocked on vaping material, but have no family emergency plan for evacuations and survival during/after a disaster, something as simple as a fire in the house? That would be an irony. :)

I have a very simple plan. Be wherever the fire isn't. If possible, carrying capacity permitting while relocating the living things where the fire isn't, grab whatever I can that is not presently on fire and not likely to be on fire by the time I get to it. Do not grab the marshmallows. This is not a good time.

I was on the 22nd floor of an office building downtown Oakland, CA, near the Hayward fault epicenter, during the 1989 7.0 earthquake that pancaked HW 880, among other things. There wasn't much time to grab anything, only time to hang on. :)

I was in L.A. and felt that quake. That was serious!

Wait, I thought you were talking about the big quake in Oakland. But that was in '89 I think. OK, I'm so tired I'm not seeing straight. Early bed time for me tonight.

Yes, it was the 1989 "big" one I lived through, but it was nothing compared to the 8.0 quakes in Japan and Chile this year. I'd hate to be in one of those, with or without my PV.

No kidding! I thought that big Oakland quake was over 8?!? I've slept since then...just a little bit.

Only one problem with most generators(like I have) is you have to have gas! I have 6-5 gal cans and then I'm screwed if the power doesn't come back on in a week and in Fl. that is a real possibility like after a hurricane....gas pumps don't work without electricity. I figure the one unlimited free thing we have here in Florida is good old sunshine power! Anyone know of a good solar powered charger for a big batt ecig??

Livin' here in 'cane country and the continental US lightening capitol, besides having two gen sets with 54 gal of gas, I also have four Optima deep cycle batts with all the necessary adapters and a couple of inverters.

Looked into solar a while back and the co$t vs efficiency didn't seem worthwhile. I really could use a good USB solar unit...
