How many of you still smoke analogs occasionally?

I know I'm guilty of it. I still smoke the occasional analog. Sometimes after a meal or some times when a friend is smoking one. Maybe one a week? I kind of feel ashamed admitting it.

I've been vaping for about 2 years now, but I seriously got into vaping in the past year. I was always using Joytech ego batteries until I upgraded to my Provari in late November of 2012, ever since then its been vaping bliss, such a different experience than the eGo's.

But for some reason I still want that occasional analog. Maybe it's that feeling of the filter between my fingers, I don't know.

Any body else the same way? It's almost blasphemous to the church of PV.

Not me. I'm one of those lucky ones who transitioned from smoking to vaping and as I did everything about smoking became disgusting. the smell of smoke, the taste - everything. After 30 years of smoking I sure as hell didn't see that coming. Last week someone who was very obviously a smoker sat down next to me on a bus and it was all I could do to keep myself from gagging from the smell of stale smoke coming off said person. Can't ever imagine having another one.

I've been smoke-free since the second week of April, so I'm closing in to my 1 year vape anniversary. I had my last analog about a week into starting vaping. I've not missed them at all. My son lives with me and smokes, so I would easily have the opportunity to have one should I ever want one. But the great thing is I find them disgusting and smelly.

I think you should be giving yourself huge pats on the back to celebrate the cigarettes you have not smoked rather than fretting about the piddly few you do smoke. I've seen several posts from people on ECF saying that they still enjoy the occasional cigarette, cigar or pipe after having vaped for long periods of time.

However, if you would prefer to not smoke at all you might want to give the NJOY King disposable a try for times when you crave a cigarette. It comes in 30 and 45 mg. nicotine strengths in plain and menthol flavors. The NJOY very closely mimics the taste and experience of smoking a real cigarette including having a filter that is squishy like a regular cigarette as well as having a similar size and weight.

If the NJOY works for you and you don't want to spend the silly high price for them I would suggest you try using an eRoll with a high nic juice to see if that works for your cigarette craving times. Because the fully assembled battery remains in the small, stylish (4 1/4" x 1 7/8") PCC case when not use it always packs a fully charged punch—deceptively powerful for such a small battery.

I really struggled with the 1-2 analogs in the morning, I had convinced myself that they were a nicotine jumpstart but I still hated smoking them. I finally found my "perfect" setup of juice and delivery system and since that day I haven't had an analog. My brain tells me that I want one many times throughout the day, but it's happening less often. I smoked for over 30 years and do NOT want to start back up.

Nope. I don't think it's a big deal if you have an occasional one, I just haven't wanted one in ten months. Even when I was in a desperate situation without my vaping gear, I didn't think of buying a pack. (Shrugs) Everyone is different and if it doesn't bother you to have those few, it shouldn't bother anyone else. If I wanted one, I would smoke one. I just don't want one.

I'm on my second stretch with ecigs. My previous first year of vaping I would smoke an occasional cig. They were few and far between and tasted really bad. On april 23rd it will be one year since my last. When I smoked full time I thought how great it would be if I could smoke just 5 a day. But, I couldn't do that and would smoke 40 a day.
