ive been using my e-cig for about 12 days and have gotten 5 people that smoke analogs to buy a 510 kit, one of them bought an e-cigat the mall about a year ago and it had no vapor production and no throat hit, and as soon as she hit my 510, she was hold with the remark "wow, this ones way better then the one i have, i could actually do this! it smokes like a cig!"

your turn!!!

Honestly zero.

I bought a kit for my dad...didnt like it

mom...didnt like it

step father...didnt like it

sister... still using it, but also still smoking and she says she is using the ecig less and less

All were 510 kits.

Just from my family, it has a 20% success rate. I took to it instantly. The others, not so much

yeah charging batteries was a hassle so i moved on to the ego and now i just use a glv2, so batteries are not a problem. I seriously think that for my family, they thought it was going to be like a magic pill, just try it and all of the smoking urges go away. I still say that for any method to work, patch, pills, gum, e-cigs, the user has to WANT to quit smoking. Now I did try with the patches and gum and pills and they worked for a couple days, maybe a week total if I added up all the time between them. But the difference with the e-cig is I still had that hand to mouth motion going. Not only do we have a nicotine habit, we have a hand to mouth habit that is just as strong. For me, the e-cig was life changing. It was still hard to break the habit, and I thank my wife for helping me with that. She was constantly telling me it would in no way work. that i was wasting money. That kept me going on the e-cig.

um, I think I could only say 1. I've gotten kits for 3 people but two are either uninterested completely or making it work so well they never have any questions for me. I highly doubt the second. I see them almost every week so and asked at first... but Mutt's right. A person has to want it. Registering and posting here has helped me too, and the naysayers saying it wouldn't work, in a weird way, works too.

well that counts, so i am going to claim 1

That's right, you never know, that one person may convert one person and so on and so forth. You may help more than you know. Wonder how many people see you with one on the street and go home and figure it out and another person quits analogs for it :) or someone reads that post at the right time :)

Been vaping for over a month now. Converted my wife, 2 co-workers, my father and 3 friends. That makes 7 to date. I'm still heavily pushing it to friends, and even strangers. I think I talked 2 total strangers into trying it again, with better models than the ones they tried over a year ago. Showed them the vapor I get off the KR808 (didn't have my mods then).

For me, and I hate to admit this, but for me, my wife is right 99% of the time. She is usually dead on in her prediction. It pisses me off but I think thats what helped me stay the course with the e-cig. When I first started, I wanted a cigarette badly. She would ask, and I said, nope, dont need one, when in reality I just wanted to take one and smoke it. Eventually, she would ask and I would still say no, but it was the truth, I didnt want one. Thats why I give her credit for helping me to quit cigarettes.

I have had probably 75-100 people come up to me and ask about it. One time in Home Depot, I had 6 employees standing around me firing questions. Was bad enough that the manager came over to see what the problem was, and ended up asking questions as well.

At the child support office, I was in there and asked the woman behind the desk if it would be ok to use it. She was intrigued by it, called 3 other workers over and I was passing info out. All said they themselves or someone they knew could use it. I even had one of the mothers with a small child come up to me, at first to complain, but once she heard what was being said, she asked for a card as well. Turns out her husband was a smoker and she didnt like it around their kids.

It happened at the bingo hall as well. I take care of my father since he has had some health issues, and at least once a week, I can get him up and dressed and out and about. Unfortunately, its to go to the bingo hall. Now when I go, I always get tons of questions and have to give a demonstration. Its gotten to the point that I now carry extra business cards and just spread them out in front of me. People come up, ask a couple questions and take a card.

Same at restaurants, Wally world, corner store etc etc. So far I have only had 2 people come up to me, ask what it was, and then started to tell me how bad they are and that I am inhaling antifreeze. I told them all I knew about them, but they still would not budge in their thinking. Thats OK too. Not everyone will accept it.

So as far as I know, my count for conversions are zero. BUT maybe 1 or 2 people I have talked to have actually listened and went home to research it further and have become converted.
