....Besides, I prefer the small box form of dna mods--they feel more comfortable in my hands than big and heavy tube mods...

I'm loving my iSticks. I got two at a great price and keep them at my desk with different flavors in each. I have big hands but find them to be perfect anyway. And I'm still blown away by how they rock the watts! I find myself rarely grabbing other devices now unless both iSticks are on the charger...which for me is 2 days on a single charge.

PS - for the cost of 1 Provari I could get 6 iSticks at the price I paid for them. How many iSticks is enough? Well I have 2, so.....2 :)

Point is, what can the Provari do that many, many other comparable devices that cost less can't?

I don't know if that's a rhetorical question, in which case I probably shouldn't even attempt to answer, or if you honestly want to know.

What the Provari can do for me, is this: I can put a charged battery in it, screw on a topper, and take it out with me, and feel absolutely certain that it will do exactly what it's supposed to do for as long as I need it to. I don't feel that I have to spend a second worrying about it.

Maybe there are many cheaper mods with accurate regulation that could give me the same sense of reliability, but I haven't come across any yet. Other mods have crapped out on me, or at least become erratic, and to me personally, that is not something I want. Sure, I've heard stories of ProVaris not being reliable, but to me they're just that, stories. I've heard stories of meteorites crashing into houses too, and it's not that I doubt that those stories are true - but I don't worry about it happening to me.

That is just me, though. Preference is subjective (stating the obvious here), and the same goes for wants, and for many needs too. YMMV. Vape what you like to vape.

The OP wasn't asking about other mods. Provari isn't for collecting although owning more then one certainly makes sense.

As a self identified fanboy it makes sense to you. Perhaps not to others. Your obvious fanboism comes at a cost - objectivity. You've proven yourself and objective readers will discount your opinions accordingly.

Since acquiring my first iStick my Provari mini has been pretty much been collecting dust. Despite its limitations the form factor and battery life make it vastly superior to my Provari mini.

Maybe you find yourself on all the Provari threads. Or do you just troll?

This coming from a Vamo user? They can't be that good? LOL You can use different batteries because your Vamo has no protection built into it.

Link please, my vamo only fires down to 1.2 ohms. You seem like the kind of guy that rides a Harley and would not wave to me because I ride a Valkyrie.

One is enough for me. It's so reliable I don't feel the need for a backup, and with an extra Tatroe ring (on a ProVari mini) I can use all three battery sizes as I please.

My next mod is going to be something different, because variety is the spice of vape. I'm on the fence about the P3, and drooling all over the DNA40 board. Time will tell. I'm certainly in no hurry to replace my ProVari 2.5, and I've got my shinyitis somewhat under control at the moment.

Check out the PVA-40...lot of thought went into this one.

At this point, zero. I've owned one but sold it. Just not enough power for me after I got away from clearomizers. Now that the P3 is out I may very well change my mind though. From what I've seen it's a good looking device that has a bare minimum of power for my atties. When they realize the error of thier ways and make a 30W P4 they'll probably attract a new fan base and I hope they do. It's nice American made product and I wish them all the best.

And you just ordered a new P3. Go figure.
