Welcome! You can definitely do this! I smoked analogs for over 25 years. The day I got my little KR808D1 kit (July 13, 2011) I put down analogs and have never looked back. I never even had the urge to smoke a cigarette since I have stopped. Of course, I may be one of the lucky ones, I don't know. All I know is that I have read countless stories of smokers successfully quitting and am very hopeful that you will be counted among those stories. Don't ever give up!!

Thanks for the welcome. Wow your doing great, I hope I'm as successful as you. I mean I really do like it more than analogs. Its just that it seems too easy for it to last. crossing my fingers though.

the day after i quit cigs and started vaping, i unconsciously lit a cig, but put it out before inhaling. I haven't lit or smoked a cigarette since. That was 5 months ago.

Be prepared to deal with Murphy's Law and you'll be alright.

Haha, yeah I feel you on the murphy's. Congrats on the 5 months Dream.

When I got my first pv a Joye 510 I fooled around with it for a few days, mostly because the pre filled carts were horrible. After about 5 days I tried to go a whole day without a cig and made it and that was it. Had one really bad day at work and almost bummed one but I didn't and when I got home used higher nic and that was it. I've been smoke free since Feb. 5th 2010. Keep at it and you will make it!

I was a 2 1/2 pack a day smoker. When I bought my PV, I didn't make myself quit. Infact, even after a month, I let myself smoke when I feel like it. I went down to about 4 cigs a day instantly, and just transitioned to being 100% smoke free. Every time I have a cig (very rare), I usually put it out right a way.

For me, it was more helpful to transition on my own. Letting myself make a decision made it easier because every time I have tried to quit, I tired to make myself feel bad about myself when I slipped up. Doing it this way allows me to prove to myself that I just don't like smoking anymore, even if I "slip up", I am proving that I don't enjoy smoking to myself.

I'm also smoking 3-4 analogs per day while vaping during my first month, but I can see myself slowly getting more used to vaping and droping the analogs all together at some point. I just need to find a few juices that I can use all day and not get sick of.

DK-TAB is a new one I'm trying that's starting to make me want to vape more though, really solid tobacco type juice to me. (Can't stand the fruity crap, feels like inhaling candy..yuk) I'll probably order a good set of Dekang liguids...then hopefully I can drop the "smokes" totally when I'm able find a few more juices that I like.

I'm just happy to be on the path to quiting this time.

When I first got my PV about a month and a half, 2 months ago, i would have a cig when i really had a craving and surprisingly they tasted awful. They had never tasted awful before! I had maybe 2 the first day, then i would crave one and have a couple of drags and it would be so just gross that i would put it out. Havent had a drag since that first week.

almost my story too. 2 1/2 pad smoker, my goal was not to quit, but to cut back to 1 pack a day. now 8 months later I am down to 2 cigs a day, and I might just stay there forever. I'm old and am not looking to live to be 105!

Another older person here! I'm coming up on 6 months, the first three months I smoked 3 a day. Then three months ago I switched to the Volt and immediately dropped to 1 or 2 a day. The Volt just works for me. Lately I find myself skipping days, but I don't push it, if it happens fine, if not that's okay too. I too don't have any hankering for that 105 yr age.

My goal was just to save some money. I wanted to cut down to one pack as well. It just so happened it worked a lot better than that. I think that's what made it easier for me, I really just saw it as an alternative to smoking, not a way of quitting so I was not concerned. That said, I only smoke a few cigs per week, usually for fun. Less and less as time goes on, I would have no problem just giving it up but if I crave it, I do it, only because I consistently feel the same, I just don't like it.

Smoked 2 and 1/2 packs a day for 39 years.....I thought I was the worlds worst smoker, totally unable to stop. I have been analog free for 13 weeks using a PV....Im currrently using a Silver Bullet with Dual Coil Clear LR cartomizers which is the best for me. I use 18mg nic in various flavors and pg/vg concentrations.
One word of advice, vape as much as you need it...When I first started I vaped constantly. Now, I still vape alot , but slowing down gradually. Always leave home with enough juice and battery power to avoid "running out" and having an anolog. Good Luck......You CAN do this!!!! I DID!!!
