Out of curiosity, what mG/mL nic are you using. Total Nicotine intake per day is the stat that interests me the most. Some people smoked 1/2 a pack a day and some people smoked 2-3 packs a day, but everyone was just as addicted to the nicotine! I assume it's the same thing with vaping. I've been vaping 6mG/mL for several years now.
If I wrap a coil I like it about .07-1.00 ohm and I never use higher than 15 watts.
I still use 18-50mg juice even in RTA. Been vaping since 2009 and never had a desire to quit vaping since it's improved my health immeasurably. Since nicotine isn't toxic or producing any harms for me I can't find a reason to lower my intake. I don't vape every day however most days I do! I don't like a hot vape prefer it to be cool! :2cool:

I'm a DL vaper so i probably use more juice than the MTL Vapers but i only vape at 3mg nic sometimes 4mg nic depends on my mood.
I usually vary between 33 watts and 36 watts, that right there is my sweet spot, not really into warm vapes.

Lately i have been using LADY COILS - CLEOPATRA (5 turns,3mm and about 22ohms in single)

Juice usage? No idea maybe fill in the tank 3 to 5 times a day (4.5ml bubble tank),really never bothered to measure my e-liquid consumption.

When i smoked i was smoking a pack and half or more a day,mix of nicotine addiction and anxiety.
Tried different amounts of nicotine for my vape and even 6mg at the moment is to much for me,I'm fine with 3 or 4.

I believe nicotine within cigarettes produces addiction likely. However I don't see anything in the literature that definitively says nicotine alone is "addictive." I think some of us may be dependent on nic but using nicotine via vaping or snus doesn't hold up to the addiction model. I've yet to see anyone being mugged for a smoke or spending every dime to "get a fix".....

Well i mean i use to be addicted to playing World of Warcraft, remember once i had my credit card stolen and i couldn't find any gamecards for the game...didn't really mug anyone just so i could login the game, just sayin'
One thing is to be addicted to something and another thing altogether is criminal like behaviour so you can procure said substance.
In my case i need my morning espresso, like if i don't drink an espresso when i wake up well let's just say it ain't pretty, doubt i would do a grab and dash at my local bar if one day i forgot my wallet and couldn't pay for the coffee.

Some did the transition to vaping quite easily, like me for example but others struggled a bit more.
Now personally i don't know what exactly is in a cigarette (apart from nicotine) but there is enough literature and studies done to show the addictive properties of nicotine just by itself.

With cigarettes it's not just the nicotine addiction that is a factor. It's the countless nasties in tobacco that have a drugging affect on your whole system. After a few years of vaping I left my gear home one day when I was going to be out of town till that evening. I didn't experience any of the anxiety I would have felt in my smoking years that would have had me bumming a smoke off strangers.

I remember the last time I smoked. I had been vaping for a couple of months solid, the longest I had gone to that date. Just a few drags and I felt so dizzy I thought I was going to pass out. I couldn't finish the thing. It was that drastic difference between what vaping is like vs cigarettes that made me make a final break from smoking.

I vape a the same mg as when I started and have no plans to lower my nic. Life is better.

That is dependence not addiction.

Please link me to those studies as I haven't seen them. Most of the studies use tobacco when talking about nicotine. However not this one older study by Frenk & Dar
If the data contradict the theory, throw out the data: Nicotine addiction in the 2010 report of the Surgeon General

Sorry no links of studies that you would be able to understand, the ones i have are all done in Europe, either in Spanish or Greek,Italian and Dutch.
The Spanish ones i can read because well i am Spanish but the other 3 i had translated by some friends to Spanish.
Sorry to say but when it comes to studies related to smoking, vaping and nicotine i do not trust ANYTHING done in the US or Canada, they biased on both ends...there doesn't seem to be a middle point with just pure facts,at least that is the way i see it.

From what i have read and seen my opinion (just that,my opinion) is that nicotine is addictive.
Doubt the 24mg nic salt and Snus users just do it for the flavor alone...maybe some do but in a barely noticeable number.
