My startup kit was $66.69 incl. shipping from China. My first mistake was not ordering juice right then because it would been covered under the minimum shipping charge. I knew 10ml wasn't enough, but somehow I slipped... Anyway, then I had to order juice. $26.60 for 30ml of a really tasty vape from PinkSpot. So, $93.29 total to start.

I've since ordered extra clearomizers & more juice, and am now up to ~$255 @ almost 2 months in. But I haven't spent a dime on analogs. :D
You are almost even!! I am still about $100 out and enjoying every minute of it.

Hmm, given that this is the first $ I spent towards improving my health... I'm not really restricting myself too much.

$220 to start...
$330 to get set...
$??? to go...

Only 6 days in. I'm sure my 1st months budget will be up there. :)

As it is, based on my wish list, I'm probably looking at $1500 or so, but then I expect it to fall off drastically. I have a tendency to over research something I'm into, buy the best that I can, get my foundation set, then just settle back and enjoy.

I'm really not sure I should be putting this in writing, but I'm fairly certain that my wife does not visit ECF. Therefore -

In 104.89 days (to the current minute), I have spent exactly $4,497.30. This means that I'm currently running at a loss of $1,193.21, when measured against what we would have spent on tobacco* during the same period, however -

1. I was absolutely intent on giving up cigs (which I have), and wanted to try as many options as possible (which I also did) to ensure ultimate success (so far, so-damn-good).
2. A fair portion of this was for juice. According to my running calculations, I am currently stocked through 13-Jun-12, 2:13am (at current pace of 8.37ML per day). If, and that's a big "if", I don't spend another dime on hardware (unlikely), that date represents a savings of $2,188.86 against tobacco. So... I figure I have some wiggle room. :vapor:

And yes, I track stuff. Actually, I track everything.

* Both my wife and I are vaping exclusively so the costs represent two people, not just me. Although, if I'm to be brutally honest, she's going through only about 25% of the juice that we're consuming each day. What-ever.

For me it´s been about 20 days since I started vaping and I used to smoke 1 pack a day. My initial spend was about 100€ for an apollo standard kit plus 10 blank cartomizers. Since then I got one 10ml and one 50ml juice. That cost me about 20€/25€ total.

So total spending for the first month - 120€. The cigarrets I smoked costed 3.70€ a pack so that´s about 115€ a month.

Only one month and I almost reach the break even point. But I´m sure i will save a lot of money from now on :)

Still in my first month. I have spent under $350 so far. I bought a 510-t starter kit, regular 510 kit and many other odds and ends. truth be told it seems like a lot of money, but compaired to a 1 1/2 packs of analogs a day at 6 bucks a pack its worth every penny. Plus my lungs are already getting better. I would recommend to anyone that wants to quit analogs.

So far my expenditures to get started are $373.59. I just about passed out right now when I finished adding up all my invoices... LOL! I knew it would be a chunk of change in the beginning, so I have *mentally* prepared myself to not sweat it and get a better monthly average/savings calculation at the 90 day mark.

Placed 1st order on 2/2... waited anxiously for 4 days for starter kit to arrive. It showed up on the 6th...charged that baby and have been purely vaping since the 2/7.

Pleased to say though that that total for this first month (so far...:p) now includes getting my husband on the vaping wagon (I'm so proud of him...I really didn't think he would go for vaping. Getting started was purely my decision, but after a week he wanted his own... YEA!!) So for the 2 of us that is actually really good. Considering we were both PAD+ smokers (3 PAD between the 2, at least) and our monthy cig bill was averaging $550/mo.

The biggest expense in this total is JUICE! OMG I gotta quit perusing sites looking at more juice flavors.... LOL! But, hey... gotta have juice. And you gotta have juice you will like to vape to be successful, right?

Now that I think of it, I am still below what we would usually spend on the stinkies... so I better go do some more shopping!
