The cost of the ingredients for my DIY juice works out to roughly five dollars a month.
That's pretty darn cheap! 10ml of aroma is close 6 bucks around these parts lol. Then another $2 per 10ml of nicotine (I use 15ml per 30ml bottle). A 100ml base costs 5 bucks.

I vape close to 100ml per month, so that's err ... 5 times something something ... A lot more expensive :D

I vape around 240 ml per month. Making my own juice at around $0.13 CDN a ML costs me about $31.00, so about $24 USD. If I lived in the US that would be a bit less.

If I smoked a PAD in Canada now like I used to that would cost me around $195 CDN a month.

Works for me :)

I MTL around 60ml/month. About 2ml/day. I make my own juice, so costs are considerably low for me. Once a year, right around the end of June, I start experimenting with small batches of flavors I might like for the year. Once I figure out which ones I really like and toss the ones I don't, I make about a years worth of juice.

I'll make small batches for trial and error throughout the year, but not much. I'd guess I spend $50-60 a year between flavors, nic, and VG/PG. Mostly on new flavors at this point.

Less than the cost of a pack of cigarettes in money per month and far less in the health cost

I got far FAR more in health costs. Although if I continued smoking I would've probably got into high healthcare costs from COPD plus still eventually had the costs of the autoimmune smoking was hiding.

I rarely went to Drs as a smoker, although part of that was the Drs I went to just blamed everything on smoking (even when I wasn't smoking cigarettes) so I avoided them.

I only vape unflavoured, diy

So at AUD$0.75 per week (and that's higher than it needs to be due to overseas freight for nic), that's AUD$3.00 per month

I like to point out at this point cigarettes now cost around AUD$38 a 30 pack here now. Ill let you do the math for per month. Poor pack a day smokers....

Yup, but still way less than smoking almost anywhere :thumb:

And we're very lucky to so far have a government that is being sensible about regulation. I'm hearing now that 100 mg/ml base is being phased out to a new max of 60 mg. I can live with that.

Don't know what the future will bring, and it can change pretty quick, but so far so good.

Yep. Had a friend staying at my place last week. She asked me to grab her a packet of cigs while I was doing the grocery shop. Packet of Bensen and Hedges 25 cost $40.50. I nearly fell over! Thank god I vape and DIY.
