When I first started I was vaping more then I smoked. I was using it pretty much everyday around 1 or 2 ml a day. Eventually I got to where I am now, I probably only use it 3 or 4 times a week. About 2 of those I'll be out drinking somewhere or just tying on a few at home and I'll vape pretty heavy, maybe 2 to 4 mls.
I don't consciously avoid using it, I've just naturally weened off it some I guess.
I had smoked for 17 years before I permanently turned to vaping. I was a pack to two pack a day smoker for about 12 of those years. The first couple years I started smoking I was young and probably was only a half pack a day smoker. Then for about 12 years I was a heavy smoker. Then the last maybe 3 years I smoked before I quit I had cut back to about 3 packs a week, sometimes 4, occasionally only maybe 2.
I wasn't only addicted to smoking though, I also thoroughly enjoyed it, but the last few years I enjoyed it a lot less if I had too many in a day, I would start getting that infamous s*** mouth taste what seemed like a lot quicker then in the past and had a little bit of a smoker's cough, got winded pretty easy and a wheeze at times too. I wasn't in great shape by any means but was relatively active and wasn't obese or anything, although definitely a little overweight.
But my point is I guess maybe it's been easier for me to not vape constantly because of that? IDK though, because although I had cut back a lot the last few years I smoked, I still smoked at least a few stoages every single day, unlike my current vaping habit.
