If you compare an hour of vaping to one cig it may be apples to oranges. During that hour a PAD or better smoker would have had at least one more. I would have had 2 more back In the day
Vaper (especially chain vaper) will have higher nicotine all day, compared to smoker who will have lower nicotine even at its peak times, after smoking.

This question has been asked on here a few times before I know. But I wanted to see what you guys think. Objectively and subjectively how much it is. I heard before its like 30 percent but someone else said 5. How much was it for regular cigs isn't it like 100 percent or like 50? You can post articles. Thanks for the help. I'm just curious
The absorption rate of nicotine from vaping is equal to about 25% - 33% of the nicotine in the consumed liquids. Conventional cigarettes have a nicotine absorption rate of about 5%.

I wish I have it. Looks like it was not done.

Compare your graph with this one (the same paper), it is actually the same graph but not cut after 35 min:

As you see, nicotine plasma level after 1 hour of vaping is considerably higher than after cigarette smoking.

Yes after the user smoked ONE cigarette.

To be fair, the effects of chain smoking would need to be added to the chart. (as well as showing the average nicotine decay rate)

IMHO: as a former chain smoker, 4-8 cigarettes may of been consumed within that same hour pushing the plasma nicotine level much higher than the baseline 18mg/nl from one cigarette.

You are right about chain smoking. But - from my limited observation - there are much more chain vapers that there were chain smokers. So, in first approximation we may leave chain smoking behind.

I sometimes chain smoked while drinking and have the same habit with vaping. I would guess maybe my blood nic levels are comparable
