I have older bottles of juice laying around and I wanted to know if there was an easy way to test how much nicotine (2.4,1.8,etc) is in them, you know, to see if it degraded over time? Also, not that I don't trust vendors, I want to make sure I got what I ordered. I'm a 2.4 vaper (I think?) and my goal is to reduce strength over time without having nic-fits. I know there's other factors like chain vaping (I'm working on that) involved but first thing first, how much nicotine is in my juice? :vapor:

The wall I bang my head against, thanks you in advance.

There is a really good test kit that uses a colormetric assay to determine he amount of nicotine in your solution. It uses the principle of an acid base titration; to use a defined amount of acid and wait until a color indicator in your nicotine solution changes after adding drop by drop.

check out www.eliquidtest.com. I am by no means affiliated with them, but developed an assay similar to theirs that I use at home. I've tested theirs and it works really well, just be sure to perform 3 or 4 tests and average your data to come up with a sound value for mg/mL of your eliquid.

Let me know if the tests seems too complicated and I can do my best to walk you through it :)
