Lol, just thinking about it, I get about a bowl full each delivery, now I haven't tried it-yet. Do you think she has a popcorn machine? Or does she buy it and microwave it? I wonder what flavor it is, how much popcorn does she go through, and if she has a popcorn machine. Lmao- if anyone has dared to taste it, let me know how it is lmao haha

I've eaten a few pieces. Tasted like it should. Seems like the least economical method would be to use microwave bags.

If Ms. T included 30 kernels in each box, and she shipped 35 boxes each day, that would be 1,050 kernels per day. Assuming she only worked 5 days a week, that would be 273,000 kernels per year. And I'm pretty sure those are conservative numbers.

After doing a little online research, if you lined up 125,000 popped kernels they would stretch one mile. So at 273,000 kernels, Ms. T makes over 2 miles of popcorn each year.

Maybe Ms. T will chime in and school everyone on her popcorn habits as well as when she started using popcorn full time instead of foam peanuts.

I don't exactly know about the quantity that she goes through, but I do know that she uses an air popper. Some people seem to think the popcorn is buttered, but it's not. That wouldn't really make much sense since she is putting it into cardboard boxes! Another thing I can say is that yes, she does go through ALOT. She told me that she was popping it inside but she got so tired of the constant smell that she had to move the popper outside! Interestingly, we had to stop sending popcorn in international orders. Sometimes they were being stopped and held as "foodstuffs", making delays in arrival to their final destination more likely.

Some people do eat the popcorn, but honestly I don't because it's not really sealed or intended to be eaten. It's exactly what it looks like - packing popcorn. Some people (like my Dad) share a little with their dogs (Angel the Shih-Tzu loves it), and others like myself share with the neighborhood birds. I like that idea because I doubt the birds in my yard would appreciate styrofoam packing popcorn. Whatever one chooses to do with it, the good thing is that it is probably way more biodegradable than most other packing materials!

Sometimes after I retrieve my juice and candies, I will put the box on the floor so the cats can fish out the popcorn bits and bat them around. They love the stuff. Usually I just toss it to the birdies, though.

+1 on the biodegradable packing though - much better than those static-y foam peanuts that cling to everything.

Wanted to answer this before i get started creating.

Yes we do use an air popper machine and we go through a 50 lb bag of kernel popcorn in about 3 weeks. And 1 popper machine per month. Sometimes they last longer but it depends.

Yes Brandon was correct. We used to pop it in the house but the smell after a while just got to us all LMAOOO So now hubby every day goes to the garage and pops fresh popcorn!

Although we don't suggest you eat it. But if the bottles haven't leaked (only happened 2 times since I have been working) it should be ok to eat. I love the idea of adding seasoning packets but go out and get you some SPRAY bottles of parkay butter and have at it! LMAOOOO

I know my dog at this point HATES it! But my two cocktails Lenny and Squiggy, just LOVE IT and can't get enough!

At 50lbs every three weeks, Ms. T goes through about 867 pounds of popcorn each year. This web site http://www.popcorn.org/Portals/0/pdf/TeachingTools/math5.pdf says there are about 1,300 kernels in a pound of popcorn. That's 1,127,100 kernels each year for Ms. T.

After doing a little online research, if you lined up 125,000 popped kernels they would stretch one mile.

1,127,100 popped kernels placed end to end would stretch out a little over 9 miles.
