bananudding says 12.5%
Funfetti says 16.75
I recommend you download a calculator (i like ejuicemeup). Download it here. eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator There are others but this is my favorite. You can just put in your percentages and it will tell you how much of each thing.
If you tell me what blend you want I and how much you want to make I will do the math for you
Your awesome! Thanks a million!

Welcome to ecf.

The amounts needed for a finished ejuice is dependent on the volume of bottle you wish to create. It is really easy to convert % to mil. Altho I do recommend a calculator. If you look at ecigexpress vendor site(where you purchased the one shot) they have a free calculator to help you figure it out.

When you say you usually add 4ml of nicotine, which strength of mg is the nic? And how do you know how much to add if this is the first time mixing? I am just curious and inquiring minds want to know, lol.

ECF has plenty of great members here to help with every question and step. Remember, no question is considered dumb, so ask away. We all had to start from where you are now.

I got my one shots in and I made 125 ml. I used 50 PG and 50 VG because I don't know much about PG and VG. I used 17.00 of the Funfetti. However it doesn't taste right. It tastes like I don't have enough flavor but I thought I did. Do you think it is because I have the PG and VG off? It kind of tastes blah!

I have been mixing for about 6 months. I use 100% nicotine. I just posted a new question. Can you help?

If I have read your post correctly then you added 17.00 mil of flavor. This works out to around 13.75% of the whole volume of the total.

Not all flavoring are what we call shake and vape ejuice. Flavors need to age(steep) for a length of time before actually tasting like they are intended to taste.

If I can make a suggestion.....if you have a smaller bottle, put some of the already mixed ejuice in it and put the rest of original bottle away with the cap on and in a dark, cool spot. Then you can watch the progress of the smaller bottle as it changes. Shake it daily and taste it every couple of days.

The higher the volume of a bottle the longer stepping time takes.

If you want a true shake and vape ejuice then there are some I can suggest. Just know these would mostly be fruit mixes.

I also just checked the website and diyordie suggests the following with the recipe
BEST MIXED AT: 16.75%, 70VG/30PG, and steeped for at least 5-10 DAYS.

  1. 1. Mix the recommended percentage of the one-shot blend with propylene glycol and/or vegetable glycerin.

  2. 2. Shake vigorously. Note that you may want to allow the e-liquid to steep before vaping.

  3. 3. Vape and enjoy!
If you had used the percentage he suggested for a 125ml bottle then you would have used this much flavoring

125ml(volume of bottle)
125 x .1675 = 20.9375 mil of flavor (round to 21 mil)

What is the mg of your nic as a finished product(not the mg you bought)?

Steeping is when the magic happens. I have trouble waiting sometimes even though I know a few days makes so much difference. @Sugar_and_Spice is giving accurate advice though. If after steeping it’s still too light flavored, you can break the 125 mls into smaller bottles... Maybe 5, 25 mls each. Then experiment on one at a time until you get the percentage right. Or you can do all 5 (or however many you decide) at once. I’d suggest stepping up 1% at a time. Should you feel one is too weak and the next too strong, you can then try "between” percentages. If you’re using scales, there is an easier way. Though I’m trying not to confuse.

I have been mixing for about 6 months. I use 100% nicotine.

That definitely needs clarification, IMO!

Do you mean you used Pure Nicotine, (which is definitely not recommended for use by the everyday DIYer without prior knowledge on safe handling of it and the proper environment, supplies, protection, etc. to deal with it)? Also, discussion of it is not allowed on ECF...because of how much stronger it is and therefore many times more dangerous than the 100mg/mL nic base.

Or you used what most of us who DIY use...which is 100mg/mL nicotine base?
