How much VG to use in my mix for a friend who has pen style device?

I have been mixing my e-juice for some time now. I sub-ohm vape and always use more VG than PG. I have met someone and promised to make them some juice. My friend uses a pen style device and I don't think it would wick properly with to much VG. What would be the ratio for a device like that?

I know I can make it thin enough without advice, but I want to know what the max VG could be.

It would depend on the tank they are using. I heard the mini Nautilus does well with 50/50 mix but I find personally to mix mine at 70pg/30vg with all of my mtl tanks that run 1.5-1.8 ohm coils. Hope this helps.

I still sometimes use my old eGo 1100mAh batteries with Innokin 16D or 16B clearomizers (usually 1.5-1.8ohm coils), as well as various mods with the same innokin clearomizers, as well as a Nautilus Mini, GS-Air 2, KFL+, STM, TTM, SubTank Nano and other tanks (usually factory coils or ones I build at 1.2-1.8ohms). I use a 60VG/40PG DIY in all of them, and have had no problems whatsoever. I also make eliquid for several friends, some of whom are DL hitters and some MTL vapers. That ratio works with all of their devices and in various tanks and RBAs, too.

I'm not a DL hitter, nor even a MTL vaper. It's more like into the mouth and then a few seconds later...out the mouth and/or nose. The 60VG/40PG works great for the way I vape, too, though.

ETA: You could just ask your friend what PG/VG ratio their store-bought eliquids have been, and make your DIY for him/her at that same ratio.

Thanks for the replies. I was standing outside of McDonald's to vape and noticed an employee vaping. For simplicity I said it was a friend. I take my 83 year old father to McDonald's every morning so he can drink coffee and tell lies (LOL) with about a half a dozen other men that go there for the same reason. I really don't even know this person's name or exactly what she is vaping with. I just noticed it was pen style. I figured she didn't have much extra money for vape shop e-juice. I have sunk so much of my money in e-juice supplies over the last few years I can make her a bottle or two for next to nothing. I'm just trying to be a good Samaritan, I am old enough to be her father. I also love to see someone give up cigarettes. Vaping worked for me.

I wanted to use as much VG as I could without causing her coil to burn up from improper wicking.
