How much was your first pack of analogs

Ahhhh analogs... how I miss those days, yet hate them at the same time.

Smoked my first pack around 2001 paying about $7/pack for camels, switched to davidoffs around 2008 for $2.50/pack (cheap idaho prices while going to college), then switched to dunhills paying $11/pack.

$11 each time adds up super quick when youre buying them a few times a week, and theres no real discount on cartons. $11 worth of ejuice will last me a month. Considerable savings...

hmmmm,,,,,, .35 a pack of Marlboro on post (Ft. Dix, NJ) back around 75. Also, got those small 4 packs in every C-Ration box. Last pack of Marlboro Gold 72's $3.88 pack in Ga. Remember back around 1980 Marlboro Light were .99 a carton in the commissary in Germany. I believe that's when thry first came out. Now,,,,vaping,,,,,,Priceless !!!!

wow, what a range. $0.45/pack out of one of those old coin operated pull machines at the exit from the grocery store when I was 12. $6.25/pack when I quit after 33 years. Cheapest was $3.00/carton at the PX (we used to get a $2 coupon with our ration cards and the normal price was $5 for Marlboro Reds - and we thought Uncle Sam was being kind ). Most expensive ~$12/pack in a hotel.

My cartons now are $75.
3 packs left and hope to be a non smoker in a few days.

My first pack of Virginia Slims cost me less than .50 in the very early 70's. I swore I would quit if they ever hit $1.00.

My last pack of Basic a few months ago ran me $5.75 and it was only because I didn't have time to roll my own that day, which only costs me about $1.00 a pack.

I'm spending way more on vaping so far.

Yep. $2.15 when I started.... But $3.50 by the time I was legal to buy them!

Wow I am not quite sure, maybe $.50 to $.75 ?? I do remember back when I was a kid, parents would send in the kids to buy their cigarettes. My cousin would buy her dad's cigs for $.35. No one even cared back then anyone could buy cigs! bnrk

About $1.75 a pack for my first and $5.00 for my last in 2005, but then switched to rolling my own from $5 a carton to $18 a carton from 2005 to 2013. So for me vaping is costing more than analogs but that's ok because I feel so much better! Its been 17 days since my last stinky, and I am never going back!
