.65 cents and 7.50 for my last pack of Newports. I was 12 and bought them in a vending machine at the bowing alley.
$.48 for a pack of Marlboro in the late '70s, ~$6 for a pack of Basic (full flavor) when I quit.
.75 for a pack of Newport box......we'd go to the store with a dollar and use the extra quarter to play pinball in the back of the store....Pinball was 2 games for a quarter back then

Started back in the '70s when I was all of 7. .45 for Pall Malls and .60 for Marlboros... RYO was .25 cents and that was by leaf.... had to mill them yourself
The first pack that I purchased was Marlboro's at $1.75, and the last was around $6.00. I've been analog free for a little over a year now.
That's going back a bit, as i recall about 47p for a pack of 10 john player special.
I think I remember cigs being 1.99 or 2.15 when I started smoking, but I could be totally wrong. Somehow I don't remember clearly.
I kept telling myself if it went over $2 I'd quit. Then $3, then $4 when it hit $5 a pack the cashier said it was almost the same price for a cheap e-cig. I tried the e-cig and was off analogs.

Funny, it's up to $12.50 now where I live.
Making my own juice ends up costing me around 50 cents a day. (I think I'm doing that math right in my head?) Either way my pockets are full of all this money since I quit.
