How much was your first pack of analogs

My first pack was free. I borrowed it from my moms stash
What I remember though is that at the time one could get single cigs for 10 penning which was about 2 to 3 cents.

Yep. $2.15 when I started.... But $3.50 by the time I was legal to buy them!

Wow I am not quite sure, maybe $.50 to $.75 ?? I do remember back when I was a kid, parents would send in the kids to buy their cigarettes. My cousin would buy her dad's cigs for $.35. No one even cared back then anyone could buy cigs! bnrk

I was one of the kids who went to the store and bought my dad packs of non-filtered lucky's for .35, and I paid about the same or maybe a nickel more for my first pack of smokes....yeah I'm getting old....

.45 cents when I started in 1983. I remember saying I'd quit when it hit 1.00 in 1987. Again when it hit 2 in the early 90's and so on and so forth. My last pack Feb 13th was 6.95. Suck it RJR!

2013 smokes 6.43 gas is 3.99 PG min wage 7.25

Ran a Calculator on the cancer society site. (I think they have the formulas wrong) Anyway, according to it, I have spent over $150k on Smokes. Considering my wife has smoked as long, that is $300+K.
It saddens me that I have spent twice the value of my home on cigs.

My first pack was completely free- I found a coupon for a pack of Salem ultra lights. Hooked me right in! My second pack cost about $.55, or $5 for a carton.

My first pack was somewhere right around $4 (this was only in 2006).
On military bases, though, even through 2012, I was able to buy cartons of Marlboros for $42.
Regardless, still glad I quit. Because now that I'm out and back home, packs are over $8!!!

Free...I stole it from my dad...after that, I traded beads, furs and trinkets. This was all before money was invented mind you.

Seriously, I do remember that my mom would include a whole dollar in her letters to me at college. That would buy a pack of smokes and a Big Mac.
