I have no clue cuz that was so long ago. I remember telling everyone that I was going to stop smoking when the cigs went up to $1.00 a pack. That was back in the day!!! Waaaay back !!

I was about 50 cents and that was back in the mid to late 70's! I never dreamed they would be $7.00 + a pack but they are!

Gosh that was 58 years ago and I don't remember exactly but it was under a quarter for sure. However, it did seem expensive considering an order of fries at McDonald's was 5 cents. As for last pack.. $3.80 in a carton on the Res. which tells others here how much they're paying in taxes on their last pack.

$2.00 for a pack of Camels out of a restaurant vending machine, too young to go to the store. $3.90 at the cheapest for 305's or Pall Mall's when I quit. 305's were nasty! What's the point of smoking if I had to give up quality cigarettes to be able to afford to smoke? My Djarums are at $6.00 a pack now. At one point I was ordering online from a reservation, and the government killed that quick! I was getting a good Native American brand for roughly 1.25 a pack after shipping! Honestly, I like the clove flavor juice better than clove cigarettes anyhow! I get the flavor and throat hit without the feeling of barbecuing my lungs!
I was getting packs of GPCs for 50c when I started, marlboro reds were 2 for 3 bucks. Last pack was marlboro lights for ~7 bucks. I am not sure this new habit/hobby is saving me any money but getting my sense of smell and taste back is well worth it!
about .25 Eurocents in the late 70s - can't remember which brand though - the first cigarette I stole from my mum - it was not nice - so now I am asking myself why did I start ??? - a pack of ciggies in Austria is now about Euro 5 - here in the UK it's around £8
All I can remember is spending 6 or 7 dollars a carton. It was somthing called Golden or Golden Delight? When I quit it was $7,85 a pack for Misty menthol light 120's. i smoked about 14$ a day worth. So yes, vapeing is saving me money.
I'm thinking it was around $1.75 - $2 for a pack of Camel Lights back in the mid-90's when I started (in upstate NY).
