true... a few of my vaping friends love it, but i never took to the flavour. i guess i just haven't kept up.

I like certain variants of it. The original Ruyan one I'm not really big on, but Halo's Tribeca, despite using a similar base tobacco, is extremely good with a good balance of tobacco and caramel and vanilla, while Maple Leaf Vapes' has a more traditional Virginia tobacco base and more emphasis on the caramel that I also really like. But to me, all three of these are distinct flavours. They play on the same theme, but each manages to come off being very different.

I agree. I'm still trying them and will probably be for a long time ;) The first one I tried was heavy on the caramel. The second one (that I keep coming back to) is a much more complex flavor with hints of caramel, vanilla.... and even maybe the tiniest not of chocolate if I used my imagination a bit. It's hard to pick out the flavors by themselves.... it's like "grown up" Ry4 lol. The third one has almost fruity notes to it, and reminds me almost more of a shisha....

A technique I have started using seems to help the blending process. I will mix my base nic liquid and my pg/vg unflavored together I then use my syringe to pull and push it several times as well as shaking it. I then add each flavor one by one and do the same. Then while steeping I will do the same thing once a day. Another method I saw somewhere involved a blender with stirring non sharp blades it was filled with very hot water bottles placed inside turned on a low to medium setting or pulsed. I think mixing or blending units specific to DIY e liquid making would be a huge hit.

The juicy clear Canadian full flavour is still my adv 2 years later. But it has to be steeped first. I leave the top off and sit it on top of a kitchen cupboard for around 4 days, shaking it once a day. The RY4 and floral? undertones seem to blend in.

2 years of vaping around 3mls a day and I still can't tell you what the flavour is.
