Hey there! You know, I had ONE atomizer that all of a sudden tasted RANK. Plasticy and metallic, the taste wouldn't go away. After I cleaned it, it seemed to be better and I haven't had that problem since.

I dump all of my dirty gunked up atomizers in alcohol (if you don't feel OK using rubbing alcohol, use a clear drinking alcohol like vodka or everclear) and leave them soaking. Doesn't really seem to matter how long--but at least 15 minutes, to let the solids on the wick dissolve.

Then I boil them in water in the microwave for about 5-10 minutes. Rinse them off, then let them dry. If I don't have any spares, I will use them fairly wet, although it takes several draws to get them to wick right, and they taste terrible until they wick.

Doing it that way, they last much longer. I'm two months in and have 6 atomizers for my 2 rolls, only thrown out one or 2 atomizers so far (when the draw gets too tight even after cleaning).

It varies for each atomizer. Like alisa said sometimes it is a day, sometimes its a week.

Oh, and I realized I didn't really answer your question...I just put new/clean ones in when the draw gets too tight to comforatably get any good vapor. Sometimes it's a few days, sometimes it's 1-2 weeks.

Got it! Thanks guys :D
