How often do you juice your RDA?

So after i received all my stuff for my first mod, I immediately wrap a coil (reading 1.2ohms) with vtc4 battery (Full charge), and dropped a couple of my juice. The first 3 hits tasted so good, but after 5 hits it tasted like burnt cotton. Im not sure if that is normal because as i have said this was my first mod/rda. So back to my question, how often do you juice your rda before it taste like burnt cotton? BTW i am also using organic cotton as my wick.

I use organic cotton as well and find my self dripping after 5-7 hits, but it all depends on what your build is, how much cotton youre using, all that stuff. I just find myself removing the cap after a couple puffs to make sure the cotton still looks like it has plenty of juice

^ Follow that and you'll be fine. I pull the cap after every 3rd pull or so. Burnt cotton taste is nasty LOL

once youve been dripping for a bit, youll know its ready for more drips before it gets to that burnt taste

Four hits or so for me, but I tend to be around .4-.5ohms.

Never get dry hits with my ReoGrand though!

It completely depends on the resistance and air flow your build has, and how much wick you can get into it.

If you drip at 1.0+ then your going to get a lot more hits out of it than a 0.1 build.

My competition builds, normally ranging from 0.08-0.12 ohms typically go dry after one hit.

My daily use builds, ranging anywhere from 0.15 to 0.35 typically can get between 2-4 hits.

My wifes builds, which are all around 0.8 ohms will last around 5-6 hits for me, she takes tiny puffs so she gets a fair bit more out of it than that.


In short, different builds, different experiences.
