How often should I rewick my RDA?

I currently have a 1 to 1 clone of the royal hunter with a helix coil that I made personally. Single coil, 2.5mm wrap and reads at 0.22ohms. It's started tasting funny after a couple days. My question is: should you be rewicking homemade could more often then you would replace standard tank coils?

There a loads of factors involved. You should rewick when you think it needs to be done.

@IronLuke55: I just rewicked and brushed cleaned one Ni200 build that was last done 30 days ago. Flavor and vapor was still doing pretty well. But it really looked nasty. I probably shouldn't wait that long.
