I always get the weirdest looks when I have to stop and think when someone asks me how old I am. It's annoying too, because once I finally do come up with the number, they don't believe me. It's not as fun as you'd think always having people think you're 10 years younger than you are. Was especially irritating back when I was still buying cigarettes!

That is one of the things cashiers use to make sure that you're using your own real id, to ask you your age. To avoid having to take too long each time, to make it seem that you already know, maybe you should just subtract the last number of your birth year from the current year.

After all, certainly you already remember that you're in your 20s. So, all you need is that last number. So, just a quick 14 (current year) minus 7 (last number of birth year). With adjustment for the month you were born in. Either that or just calculate it BEFORE you go to the cashier to check out.

Yes it is. I'm 53. Nobody thinks I'm 43. And I lie... a lot ;) lol

Until you try to tell someone about something (anything) and no one takes you seriously because, "Oh, you don't know anything, you're just a young'un."

Hehehe, I am much more of a words person than a numbers person. Subtraction and I just don't get along.... I usually remember that I'm in my 20s, but don't always remember the current year. Luckily, I don't need to buy cigarettes anymore! :)

32 vpaing about over a year. I quit smoking for 5 or 6 years, but a medication I take made me want to smoke again so the habbit slowly started. Once I tried vaping, I won't lie, if it was equivalent to my smoking it'd be 2 packs a day vs my half a pack a day. Vaping makes it to easy to just grab and hit off of it, and the idea of it being cheaper yeeeeah, I'll just leave that here.
