Hi guys,
I've been a lurker here for ages. I gave e-cigs a try a few years back when I was travelling from Australia to Canada and was worried about the long flights without any cigarettes. It seems like the technology was still in its infancy back then - it was pretty much just a battery, atomiser, cart and some juice...and the wonderful modding community here at ECF.
I tried a few of the ECF mods and they definitely helped improve my e-cig experience, but it was never enough to get me off analogs altogether - a combination of the difficulty refilling and the low vapour performance.
Flash forward a few years and I've just gone over a week off analogs. No modding necessary, just an Ego-W out of the box and some Hangsen juice and I don't even feel like having an analog - I enjoy my Hangsen Stuyvesant more. I've still got options to tweak my PV experience with PG/VG ratios and VV batteries and the like - but I'm just blown away by how far the tech has come in just a few years.
The point I'm trying to make is when I look at the design of the integrated CE3 cartomizer, I see a combination of the fantastic mods that you guys here at ECF developed a few years back. I think the industry and the technology grew so quickly because of these sorts of communities. I don't think I've ever seen the work of modding communities in general taken up so quickly by an industry, but it's really great to see.
Now if only the governments of the world would lose the shackles of big tobacco and join the party! Nicotine juice is still illegal to sell here in Australia, but thankfully you can import it for personal use.
Anyhoo, I just wanted to see if anyone else feels the same way, and say thanks for helping develop the technology so quickly.
