China isn't exactly known for their quality control. I received 4 Phoenix clones in a recent CoOp and 3 of 4 had the air hole pointed directly at one of the posts. Here's how to correct it.

Need:
-eGo Battery or something with external ego threads
-5/16" drill bit or something rigid that will fit in the drip tip hole.
-a beating device that wont mare the machined finish, I used a small piece of wood. A rubber mallet or plastic screwdriver handle would work too.

Procedure:

Screw the Phoenix cap onto the ego battery, and insert the drill bit into the drip tip hole.

Place your thumb at the base of the cap and GENTLY pry against the drill bit. Rotate the cap or change the angle of pressure as needed. All 4 of mine came off minimal effort.

Screw the threaded ring all the way down on the Phoenix base.

Then align the air hole in the top cap between the 2 posts and press it down by hand to hold it in place.

Gently unscrew the top cap and threaded ring and place on a solid surface. Take your beating device and tap the top cap back down seated on the threaded ring.

The sharpie mark is the center-line between the posts.

Vape, and enjoy.
