Is it just me or does cotton bacon actually last longer and wick better as far as how well the vape experience will be?
I doesn't for me, but have heard many say this is true. I believe, like everything else in vaping, all the variables have to be taken into account.

Just pull the "bridge" out of an old 510 atomizer and stick it up inside the drip tip from the bottom.

This is like a blast from the past for me tj :)

No ... I'm not going to get an old 510 atomizer out of my vapocalipse box and try this yet again.

Not gonna happen.

Nope.

Nada.

Oh crap ... hang on a sec ....

Ya, I'll stick to my Aqua V2 :)

I don't have spit back problems but I thought laying some silica wick across the coil should stop the spitting...well at least upward spitting. I don't see cotton across the top working cause it would burn easily but silica or ekowool should do the trick to divert the spitting.

I haven't seen any mention about the coils themselves. Depending on their overall mass 100W might be way above or below an appropriate range for the build. Could be just right, but it's hard to say.

I generally agree that wicking is usually the first thing to troubleshoot when spitback is an issue, but overworking (or underpowering) a coil will do it as well. Maybe I'm a creampuff, but I'd need to stuff an awful lot of metal in my drippers if I expected to tame a coil at 100w.

Was thinking the same. Ive had spitback go away with increased power as well. Seems the coils werent hot enough to actually vaporize the juice and they just spring off.

Yep, underpowered can be awful as well, gonna edit my post a little to better express that.

Under powered is real bad cause your just boiling then burning the juice, not vaporizing it. The harder you pull on the boiled juice the more liquid that gets brought up to the tip. Under powered really gunks up coils fast especially cotton that has no tolerance to gunking up the fibers due to partially heated juice that plugs up the cotton fiber until there is no fibers left for the juice to flow through. Rayon would be way more tolerant to under powered by just spitting then cocooning the coil, not plugging up the fibers.
