How to build with nickel

Hi friends,
someone help, I'm trying to get a 1.5 to 2 build out of nickel, and in a dual set up. Tried alot of different ways even twisting, nothing works.
Please help!!

Nickel wire is non resistance wire, unless you have a huge atomizer, it aint gonna happen. Also, dual coils half the resistance. Smaller and longer wire will up the resistance, but it's gonna take a lot to get 1.5 ohms.

this I am learning the hard way. 22 wraps of 26 gauge is all I can get in. I'm gonna fire it on the snow wolf. For right now I'll take what I can get. 20 wraps shows 1.4 on my ohm meter. But that's just one coil. Hope it will fire with 2. Should come out to be .07. Hope that's safe.

I'm running a .07 ohm dual coil build in my derringer right now. 28awg, 12 wraps. I'm pretty impressed. .08 dual coil in my Freakshow, and a .1 single coil in my SubTank rba, all 28awg. When you go nickel, you go low ohm. Temp control is the reason you can get away with it.

Ni is too low of an ohms per inch wire to get that kind of build.... stick with kanthal if you want more than .5 ohms

26 gauge is all I have. 20 wraps shows .06 on meter but, .02 on snow wolf. Guess I'll try again.

I need to pick up some 30 and 32awg wire. It will give me more options. You can also do a Clapton coil with a Kanthal core I've heard. Haven't tried it myself yet though...

Yeah, I can't find any thing bigger than 26 gauge.

I got mine from Lightning Vapes on Amazon. Googled 28awg Ni200, then clicked the shopping tab and it was at the top.

You have more room than I do... You are spacing the wire, right? You don't let nickel coils touch like kanthal.

I can't do it, what gauge nickel do I need to make this work.

I'm using 28, but 30 might be easier to get higher ohms.

It's not gonna happen with Ni200, or not in a size you could get in an atty. A 2 Ohm coil out of Ni200 would be the size and weight of a bracelet. But if you're firing it on a Snow Wolf, not to worry. I have one, and it will fire Ni200 down to .05 Ohms. Yes, it looks scary on the old ohmmeter, but that's the way it's designed into the mod, and it's safe. I have a .09 Ohm coil (single) in a Lemo 2 on my SW, and it vapes just fine.
