Hi all - I have a newby question. I think I can only carry my new Coolfire 4 CT100 upright but if in your pocket all the oil would drain out when you sit down. Is this correct.. How can you carry it without loosing the oil??? thanks Gill
I'm not familiar with your device but try laying it on it's side on a table and see if it leaks. I carry my rig in a pocket. My atomizer is a simple rda with a single air supply in the side of the barrel. A tall slip ring covers the air supply for pocket carry. i can push it down to vape. That works for me. My impression is the better tanks don't leak so easily.

My diy liquid has only 1% flavoring partly because there are less consequences if there is a leak.

The term oil ususally refers to something that's combustible. Your e liquid is not combustible. It's a liquid but it's not oil.

it depends on the tank not the mod but there are lots of tanks that wont leak while sideways. some do though. what tank are you using?

Well I've had it full and laying down and not a drop in 30mins. The first day I used it all the vapor drained so assumed it was because it was laying down in my pocket when I sat down. It has an adjustable air intake slot close to the bottom where it screws into the battery. It also has a rubber ring that would fit perfectly on your ring finger that I have no idea what it does. Also the print on the instructions is so small I can't read it even with my glasses.

The rubber ring is use over the air flow control to cut off some of the air flow. Adjustable AF sometimes adjusts but has 2 sides, the rubber can close off one side. Not sure which one you have, but in general that's the purpose of the rubber thing. Most tanks don't use that rubber ring, but some do. As for leaking, sometimes you can turn the tank on its side and it doesn't leak, but if you rotate it a certain way, where certain juice holes are are lined up a certain way, it can leak, so sometimes it makes a difference of not only being on its side but which side is actually up. Sounds like you have an rdta maybe? Oh and its eliquid or ejuice or juice, haven't heard it called oil .

I carry all my tanks in my pocket on a MOD, in the pants pocket it is standing up but in my jacket or the fanny pack they are laying on the side. Never had a leak so far with Nautilus Mini, Nautilus x, Baby Beast, Atlantis V2, Kangertech Pangu, Melo RT22 or Melo Minis. Maybe lucky or maybe the tanks?

Minne-soda!
I only have one set up right now. Two evic vts with subtanks. I wouldn't take them anywhere pretty much. They fall over in the car cup holder. And they leak in my car during work when the temperature changes. I wouldn't ever throw them in my pit of hell purse either! I did a lot of research this week to find a setup that wouldn't leak on the go and chose the cupti. So we shall see when it comes how it works!

The rubber ring called a vape band can be used to protect the glass of you tank.

The one on my Aromamizer with little holes is used for A/F control..
Good point on the use to protect the glass, which could possibly be what he has. I assumed it was like the one on the aromamizer

Funny, when the Aromamizer came out, V1.

Me? i bought more, in colors..

It's the first and only sub tank I ever bought and think mine came with 2 , a black one and yellow one. Wasn't my cup of tea and haven't used it since.

Welcome and glad you joined. Slip rings (they have different band diameters), see below and a drip tip plug do the job for my 22mm.RDA's. Naughty, not "oil" please, I like to call it juice.

My work place is trying to restrict vaping on the shop floor (100,000 square feet, 45' ceiling). All us vapers are being sneaky. Today I made a stealth setup and will try it next week. A while back I got a couple of faux leather cases for my pico. I don't like them for pocket carry, one of the few things from fasttech i thought was a bust. But it has a purpose after all. I sewed a peice of nylon strap to one side and use it to mount a string lanyard. I can cinch it up until the mod is close below my chin but still concealed by the sweatshirt I'm wearing this time of year. I can hold the mod through the sweatshirt put my chin down, take a hit and the mod never appears. We'll see how that works. In the mean time it's a good and stable location for the mod when there's no table to set it on and my hands are busy.

For what it's worth here is a serious pair of thrum scissors, silly expensive back in the day when i bought them but worth if if you were sewing a lot. But they don't cut cotton wicking any better than the cheap ones on FT.

Please don't. Just go outside.
