Hey guys, on my evic the plus/minus knob is getting dirty and turning hard to push. Anybody willing to tell me a way how to clean under the knob?

Does the firing knob unscrew from the mod? If not, maybe some rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad could fit under the knob.

It doesn't unscrew, but maybe you can just remove it like a knob on a guitar or sth like that, but I'm afraid I will break it. I think I figured how to clean it. You just take a toilet paper sheet and while pushing it up with a fingernail clean it, but maybe there's a more efficient way of doing so.
Yeah, the knob is probably removable. Most of them are. Set screw, maybe? I'm concerned the knob might have been installed on the shaft before the assembly went into the case, thus trapping the skirt. If so, it will not be removable without disassembly. Another option for cleaning would be to dip one end of a q-tip in alcohol and scrub it, then wipe dry with the other end; repeating until you can't get any more funk off of it. Alcohol is good at dissolving gunked-up juice. A minute or so under a hair dryer will make sure it is completely dry before use.
Fold a paper towel over until it's snug as it slides under the button, and then pull it back and forth as you work your way around the button. If needed, dampen the paper towel with a bit of rubbing alcohol.
