I haven't got this yet but was just wondering how you would clean them. I wouldn't be using this all the time and want to know how to clean the head before storing it.
I would imagine alcohol would work. Something like vodka. Soak them in it then rinse them out good and leave to dry. I am just guessing here as I just got the new coils yesterday and haven't had to clean one yet.
I'd put them under hot running tap water for a LONG while, then throw them in alcohol or vodka, followed by another hot water rinse. Since these have filler material they might withstand some SOFT dry burning to dry the wicking, but careful not to burn anything. Being ceramic most probably they won't burn as fast as cartos
I put the BVC in a shot glass and fill it with Ecerclear ( some use vodka or water ). I let it soak a few hours then rinse it out with warm water. Then let it dry out ( on hot days I'll set it outside...it really dries out fast ).
Since I don't have any problems I have been going 2 weeks before I clean mine.
