Started vaping bas-ackwared. I quit first, then went BP, then found e-cigs, then tried to find out how to use them, then found ECF.

I quit smoking due to circumstances beyond my control. (hospital didn't have a smoking wing) and after a recovery period at home, I was dying for a cigarette. Picked up nicotine gum instead, one more try for big pharma....

I had heard about e-cigarettes in a radio commercial, decided to try them as I was getting the normal stomach upset with the gum. My first was a M401, hardly any vapor and I had no clue what I was doing. Purchased a 801 next, better but I was still having trouble getting a decent vape.

Researching on the web was confusing at best and after about 2 1/2 months of frustration, I finally found ECF. Read a lot, posted a little, learned a boat-load, and purchased a standard ego..... couldn't believe the difference. (also was learning how to vape, fill a cart, clean an atty)

Now looking back I can say the only reason I'm not smoking today was finding ECF and the wonderful people here. I still see posts from the same members that answered my first newbie questions, their dedication to helping people is amazing. Their patience is unbelievable, thank you all.

Getting really close to my one year also. And, in the same boat as you, if it weren't for ECF...I would have failed big time. I found it about a month into vaping. I needed something better than the little 510. Jumped to an eGo and Riva by all the recommendations and then to mods. Thank Heavens that people on here had a lot of patience with me and that mods were created!

Congrats on your one year! I'm right behind you and hopefully we will celebrate year #2.
