How to Download A Video???

How and what format, I have tried direct to attachment and thru photobucket and can't seem to get it right.

After you upload it to photobucket, email it to yourself.
When it goes to website, use bottom link on page, and copy & paste it. Use that way. Works better that way for me.

To load a video on a post you can upload it to photobucket, copy the URL of the video and use the icon above the reply box that looks like a piece of movie film to add the link.

Or, are actually trying to download a video someone else has posted?

I upload it from my computer to photobucket and when I try to open from photobucket album is says it can't find the video.

Ha ha Robert, as a heavy non filter and cigar smoker, I vape strong tobacco flavors 70%VG/30% PG, and Flavors,vodka to dilute the tobacco abstract. At 0 nic I need a lot of vaper to give me the hit to stay off analogs which will be 3 years next week.

Others can but I can't see it either. I have no idea why.
Just started using photobucket and still don't understand it or how people download direct from photobucket to the thread without a link.

You mean how to embed the video so that it's playable right in your post? I'm not sure how to do it from a photobucket video, they may not allow video hotlinking. Other sites like youtube will give you the embed code, which you then paste into your post to make the video playable right in the post, but not all sites will let you do that

It plays one time and when I try again it says video not found yet it is in my album but even there it only plays one time then again the message video not found..

BJ, I think you are just adding the links and not choosing the insert image or insert video buttons in the quick reply menu. You only need the URL for the vid or pic location, no embedding needed.

For pics I have better success unchecking:

Retrieve remote file and reference locally

edit: for tinypic it doesn't work but they list what does in the popup.

I have done it the way you say, I also tried direct copy and paste and none work. For some reason it works once and then the second time no video.

Sometimes the forum has trouble embedding the videos. I hang out in the Pre Veterans thread a lot and this comes up occasionally. Someone will have trouble embedding videos, then it goes away . Don't recall seeing any explanations. I do see the links and when I click on them they take me to the video.
