How to get a GG?

Hello everyone,

I've been an avid Reomod user for close to 2 years now and I still love this bottom-feeder mod but I want to try something new. The GGTS caught my eye a while back but I didn't have the adequate funding to pay for one and now I do. In particular, I want to get a GGTS with an Ody (I heard you also need to get an Ody base, correct?) but it seems as though CoV is always (and I mean always) sold out of any or most of these GG products.

So, how do I get my hands on a GGTS + Ody? Is Advanced Order the best route to go? or should I just opt for a "notify me" and hope that I can get one sooner than October 30th?

I also looked at other mods like the Galileo (the other telescopic mod) and the famous Provari but nothing can beat the steampunk look of the GGTS nor the versatility of the GG products.

So yea, how do I get one of these bad boys? I got the money, and now I need a direction.

Well right now your best bet for a new shiny GG is to get on the Advanced Order. Its actually nicer then just get an overpriced one at the classy cause you can dress it the way you like, brass, SS .
Ody will be out on pre order a lil later according to Imeo .

I can honestly tell you that after owning 3 provaris ( two now sold ) i am using the GG's all day long, once you add the Kick you'll get awesome vaping experience .

A wise man once said - good things happen to whom who wait. ( or something like that, lol )

Anyways, Its definitely worth the wait.

When you say Pre-order, do you mean the "Advanced Order" section of CoV? Or is there another section called Pre-order that I don't know about?

And what do you mean by getting an "overpriced one at the classy?"

Well one way is to get on the pre-order, you can order the GGTS or the UFS. The GGTS you can get in SS or the CoV ed or you can get the top tube and engraved tube in brass. This is the cheapest route, as far as money and time, to get a GGTS or you could locate one in the classifieds, a few people have been selling them at or near cost. The Ody and Penelope are rumored to be on the next pre-order so the only way to get one right now is off the classifieds. As for the GGTS Ody base it is handy but you can attach the Ody to the GGTS by way of adapters.

OK so here is the scoop....

The currently running ADVANCED orders will ensure you a GGTS in the late Oct to Dec time frame. By placing your order now you are ensuring that one is made just for you.

As far as the Ody goes, we expect more in a few months as well. We just had a run of them a month back or so.

If you do not want to get the Ody GGTS base, you can use a combo of a 510 - 901 and 901 to 510 adapters to have a flush fit against the TS and have working AFC (Air flow control)

Getting anything in the classifieds is a rip off.

Yes you still get that GG quality, but does it not come from us anyway and is it not cheaper? I mean I would wait no prob. I have waited, on several GG items.

So let me ask... why over pay?

Here you go GG Advance Orders - USA, Canada, Mexico
Choose the GGTS or UFS then choose you options, basically you are ordering like it was already there, just add the items to your cart and check out. You can order the GGTS in whole units or in parts.

@JthaBigVapor - Never said anything about buying a GG from the classified section heh... but thanks for clarifying that pre-order means Advanced Order on CoV.

I guess I'll have to stick with the Reo + Carto combo until October 30th.

If I order the CoV edition, will it look as it does in the picture below when I fully assemble it?

I believe it will have the brass button as well, but not sure. They also have available the brass control ring, top tube, and engraved tube.

I pretty sure COV will send it assembled and polished, thats how they shipped my last one.

I'm thinking of ordering the GGTS CoV edition on October since the ship date is October 30th, do you think that is alright? Or should I order it sooner, like in September?

The advance order is only good till the 25 of August, if you are thinking about getting one I would order before then.

So I guess I will order the GGTS CoV edition this Wednesday or Thursday. Does anyone know when the Odysseus will go on the Advance Order list? I really want to get the GGTS with the Odysseus so that I can use it together but I don't think that will happen.

this is the first "advanced order" ever. I am trying to get people used to the difference. It is NOT the same as a pre-order.

Pre-orders are immediately incoming. You order should arive within a month (with no problems), usually less time if we can.

Advanced orders like the ongoing one, has been going on for a month and will be available in a few months time.

So in this instance when everyone says "pre-order" they mean this advanced order.

Sounds like the Ody won't come in for a long time. How about the Penelope?

I'll order the GGTS CoV edition and most likely will get another rebuildable atomizer like the Zenesis or DiD. Is there any rebuildable atomizers other than Ody or Penelope that you guys recommend?

The Penelope will most likely be in the next advance order as well.
I haven't tried any other re-buildable attys, both the Zen and the DID look neat, the Hellfire is also another neat one but I hear it is hard to get.

Anyone interested in GG By all means Advance order it ASAP. I think Imeo is going to pull the plug on ADVANCE orders the 28 of this month. If you dont order it now you wont get one for Octobers shipment which means your going to have to wait another set of months before even getting it since he has to start working on other gg products.

Is anyone else using a DiD repairable atomizer on the GGTS or any other repairable atomizer (except for penelope or ody)?
