How to get it the business of electronic cigarettes/personal vaporizers

Before I get blasted by everyone,this is not someone trying to start their own business or sell juice out of my garage or nothing like that. I'm very interested in working for a vapor store around here (pensacola fl.)but everywhere I go, all the shops are basical family owned and operated and are virtually are never hiring or looking for help. I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask on here if you know how to get in with these shops or if their might be someone on here looking for a hand. vaping has really changed my life for the better and it would make my day, everday, if I could earn a living helping others find these amazing products that actually got me to quit smoking. Still new here but been in the vaping scene for bout 4 years now, so if this is in the wrong section or anything I apologize

From what I've seen it helps a lot to be a hot 20 something chick who knows next to nothing about vaping. They hire them in all the vape stores around here.

So I guess thats not just around here , because if the people aren't family of the shop owner they only want you if you're eye-candy, regardless if you even know what vv means

Well it is what it is, and hot young chicks bring in the men to buy vape gear, and provide the male vape store owners with other benefits. That's just how the business is. You can totally know your stuff top to bottom, but the 22 year old blonde hottie will get hired instead every time.

If there's a shop you love already that you buy from regularly and promote to other local vapers I say just talk to the owner and tell them that if they ever need help on a part time basis that you'd love to be a part of their shop. If you get a good response to that follow up immediately with a resume. You might get surprised. Don't expect full-time work out of this initially because as you said most of them are family run but who knows until you ask.

I guess what I'm trying to say is be interested and persistent but not in an annoying way. And maintain a good relationship with your local shops.

I think a lot depends on how large of a family the shop owner has, and how many stores the shop owner has.

Razor Vapes on Davis . . . no hot chicks
Vape Shop of Pensacola (multiple locations but I've only been to the one in Gulf Breeze) - there was a woman there the first time I went in but not the owner, who is Australian. All the other times, it's been staffed my men in their 20s.
The other shop in Gulf Breeze - not a hot chick. Not much up to date stuff, either.
Vapor Planet in Navarre. Nary a chick in the place.

Wanted to point out a likely downside if you are to get hired on. Minimum wage and no benefits.
