The black mouthpiece is called the drip tip.

The part with the rope coming out is the coil/wick.

the rest is the tank/clearo.

It kind of looks like an iClear 16, but I'm probably wrong.

What I do to clean mine is rinse everything with water. Then I put them in a bowl and let them soak in Plain Absolut Vodka. I let them soak overnight while I sleep. Then I rinse again with water, and let them air dry for a few hours. After that, they taste brand new. Also, if the coil/wick needs to be changed (you'll know by getting a burnt nasty taste), then I just throw them out and put a new one in.

I tend to use only bottom coil (Evod, Protank 3, Protank Mini 2) so the coils are very easily replacable.

i really appreciate that man! you just saved me alot of time and questions that i was gonna ask. i was just gonna ask what to do when i get a burnt taste lol :toast:

Can someone please help me identify what the individual parts are called? Thanks

That looks like some sort of generic top feeding clearomizer. Is the tank plastic? If so, there are some eLiquids that will crack the tank such as cinnamon and citrus blends.

The burned taste comes from the coils not receiving enough eLiquid. This is a common problem with top feeding tanks. Most of the vendors have redesigned their tanks to bottom feeders, such as the Kanger Protanks and Aspires.

Technically any kind of alcohol works just fine...whether it be a 5 dollar bottle of popov vodka from your local grocery store or a 98 cent bottle of rubbing alcohol it all works the same. Just let it soak for a few and you're good to go. I have boiled my coils for a couple minutes as well with good results. Which ever way you choose, make sure you let the coils sit overnight to dry out completely and you'll be fine.
