Thanks for all the tips in this thread! I've been filling and refilling my own cartos for months now, but never thought about how the used ones I put aside "just in case of the zombie apocalypse" could be revived by rinsing them and NOT DRYING COMPLETELY. I used to dry them completely and become irritated when they did not hold any juice or kept leaking juice. Now I know the seret: never let the cartos dry out. I'll do anything to get that one last use out of a carto! :D

Thanks, Sally. You were right, darn you! Any secret to your syringe method? I've only tried dripping, which took me about 10 minutes since I didn't know how much. I think I added more than the 20-30 drops I've read, but maybe it's because the cool carts were new. I guess I should trust you again and try a syringe, too. Why not? Anything more I should know about it?

Nothing to it! I ordered online from DrsFosterSmith (a pet store). They were recommended by someone on ECF. Very fast shipping! 18GA 1-1/2" needles .19 ea., 3CC Syringes at .15 ea.; 6CC Syringes at .35 ea.
Pop the little drip tip off the juice bottle, stick the needle in, and suck it up. LOL. There are precise measurements on the syringe. I use 1 ml....stick it down the side of the carto...all the way. Slowly inject. When
the filling is wet, it is done. If it gets a bit flooded, just suck some out(with the syringe). Then any extra, just shoot back in the bottle. FAST, easy and clean!

PS: The cartos are wonderful and even get their snap back.

Jeffree I was like you waited way to long to start refilling but now it's all I do so much cheaper feel like an idiot for not doing it sooner....just a couple of things that help me that hasn't been said yet I don't think is if refilling by drip method a good indication your carto is full if it looks like an icy on top also I don't taryn spin I just take a small safety pin after some drops and poke poly all around and it helps soak liquid quicker if in a hurry...hope this help's.

Thanks very much, guys. The great help just keeps coming! I just watched a few videos--including the nice one Leaford made while in China--so I'm in good shape. I'm ordering some syringes tonight to give that method a try, too.

One last question for anyone? Keep in mind that I'm dripping into cool carts. BTW, I really like them. But the instructions I've seen mention first taking off the white cap and then removing the o-ring seal 'inside' the cap. I didn't remove any o-ring, yet the juice seemed to absorb well. So I'm wondering if I need to remove the inside o-ring when refilling cool carts--or can I just be lazy and drip onto it as I've been doing?
