LOL Tib! That would only give Poeia a bigger problem I guess, she has tweetie birds and you know how dat dang puddy cat is!

Sorry about the duck Jeff. At least you and the family gave him some good quality time and that is what counts. I have a shop cat that was feral as heck, now he's an annoying piece of velcro. He's a good cat though.

Overnight shifts this weekend. I am waiting for this melatonin stuff to kick in, figured I'd give it a try because I usually just go the entire weekend without sleep and my daughter and her friends laugh at me. I guess I look pretty goofy come Monday afternoon.

I've come to the conclusion that metal drip tips and cold weather do not mix. A little while back I actually got it stuck enough that I could chuck no handed. Maybe I can add it to my short list of stupid human tricks.

I almost ripped my lip because it was stuck to my aluminum drip tip.

I have added a new twist to "stalking the mailman."

My building has over 200 apartments. I came in from doing an errand and our substitute mailperson was here. Some of the mail was on the shelf above the boxes and the rest was into those white baskets, one per bank of mailboxes. She was starting to put mail into the first group of boxes -- mine is usually the next to last one.

Poeia: [looking in one of the baskets in the middle of the floor] I'm willing to bet that one is for me.
Mailperson: Which one?
Poeia: That small Priority box. [Mailperson picks it up] 13F?
Mailperson: [turning the box over and reading it] Yup.

I have about 2 days before the batteries arrive during which I will apply Noalox and gaze at it lovingly. It is a thing of beauty. I'll post pictures later.

I ordered from Lighthound on Saturday. USPS has the notification so I assume it will be in the system tonight.

And the "elbow" on my new Chuck have passed the Mini Macaw test. She will not be allowed to retest that often (and I certainly wouldn't let a big Macaw near it -- those guys can crack walnuts in their beaks)

Still working on the Douglas Pics. Spent the entire weekend machining end caps and getting 2 of our trucks ready for the blizzard that is coming in a few hours.

We are supposed to get over 2 feet in the next 48 hours.... I can't wait!

I'll be living in the truck for the next few days, but I'll be back!

Poeia, you got a new chuck? Which one?
Douglas chucks, is that the steampunk one?
Jeff, I was in your town every flippen day last week to go to Edwards. The traffic and stop lights are ridiculous. A few of the times I had to take 59 in around rush hour since I was going in from work. From home I just back way it in thru montgomery, not as bad but I drove out there right in the middle of the snow Thursday and people still haven't figured out how to drive. I really am gonna miss my jeep this week! :( Something tells me I'll be taking the one ton into work Wednesday morning. My whole drive is thru country and they already have to postings for roads they say will be shut down if we have this blizzard which will only make the drive in that much worse cause there are no roads out here with that kind of wind and snow.

I need to order new batts from lighthound, mine are finally starting to take a crap. I am also ordering two sets of 3volts and a charger for my co worker that I hooked on to vaping. She uses 510's and just recently I got her on the cartos. She went from three packs a day to vaping. She was jonesing for a smoke so I had her hit my chuck. "I want what you got!" is what she said. She doesn't want to wait so I am selling her my smarkely chuck and I am putting in an order for a special one. I should go with just a plain paint job again but I made a word doc print using all kinds of different fonts that had repeats of my hubby's name. So I am gonna order a Jimmy chuck. There is an underlying inappropriate joke in that:evil: but being the catholic raised proper lady that I am (cough) I will not say.

How's that feel on the hand? I fist mine, again, so lady like, and that is something that might make me nuts but way cool Poeia.

Cool, looking forward to the critter pictures. I can't wait to move from here, I need some new critters. Told hubs no more giant over 100 pound dogs in the house so once we move and get settled I think I might get a newfie and I'll teach him how to pull a cart, I have a cute little wood frame shed that I can turn into a nice outside house for him but knowing my husband I'll end up getting a ton of use out of my dyson, he thinks dogs should be inside with the family. I also am going to find a little black lamb, teach him to be a dawg and go for walks with the dogs and me, but he can't go in the house. We'll have chickens and a cow or two and pig but their names will be breakfast, lunch and dinner. What I look forward to most is seeing my horses every day, I miss that.

I fist Junior and I think that's why I'm having some problems with my hand -- kind of the vaping equivalent of the claw from holding a mouse for too long. The problem didn't start when I got my Little Chuck. I got a headset for my phone because talking for more than 10 or 15 minutes makes my hand go to sleep. But it has gotten worse. I play with Junior unconsciously and found I was waking up with that hand clenched. That's why I bought a Riva. For a stock PV, it's pretty nice and I've been using it at home. And Junior comes with me whenever I leave. (When I'm out, I am much more aware of when it's in my hand, etc.)

Right now the new one is VERY light as it doesn't have any batteries. But I've noticed that when I pick it up and fidget with it, the shape of my hand keeps changing to accommodate it. So I think it might actually be good for my hand.
