One of the absolute coolest things about this thread (I'm knocking on wood as I say this) is that it's fun. Everyone is enjoying everyone else's stoopid questions, waiting trauma, WOW factor, you name it. Issues come up, and are dealt with, without becoming mountains (thank you Jeff). It's no wonder that the posting has hit this level....despite you guys getting wrapped up on where the square was in the equation (I'm a EE and even I was 'what-ever" about that one)

Okay I have joined the ranks officially!! Broke down and went to Walgreen's for the CR123's (damn dealextreme)...could'nt stand it she was SCREAMING at me ("Chuckita", Chuck's twin sister with the Celtic butterfly prom dress)...she's sooo mysterious (or is it an "illusion" ha)...

6V on my 510's...HAPPY !! Camera is charging, hopefully a sub-standard picture later (how could one capture her beauty???)...thanks all for your support...XX00's to Jeff...

No farging kidding- we just put computers all over the hospital and sweet baby james, NEVER let on that you know ANYTHING about computers to your boss under those circumstances. I gots me one precious eve off here and all I've done today is sleep my .... off, mostly. 12 hours day after day wasn't too gruesome in my 20's, 30's or even 40's, but now in my mid 50's um teen years, this is getting tough.

BTW, someone had a nice lead on a good price for rcr123a's and a charger, anyone remember where? I do gotta try the 801 at 6v, although it's hard to imagine anything better than this 18650.

Er... never mind. Went up to CVS and the 123 non-rechargeables were 9.99 each! Yeeks! 3 more batt changes and I could buy a whole chuck! I think I'll order some rechargeables and wait on the vaping bliss at 6, if I like it.

Came home today to find my sparkly new CHUCK waiting!! As everyone says, pics do NOT do that illusion justice! Fabulous job on the design, I am so HAPPY HAPPY

I am DYING here with no batts/charger from Dealextreme yet (of course) and thought I'd read one could pick up an un-rechargeable 18650 at CVS or Walgreen's or someplace to tide me over...I read all the packages at CVS they have a ton of odd batteries but don't see that model # on any of them...is it a Lithium AA? Am I a ..... or what? I plan on 3.7 vaping, anybody able to guide me what I should be looking for "off the shelf?" Thanks!!!

I got non-rechargeable CR123A's, 3v, at Target. Someone else said they got them at Walgreens. I DID go out and buy some at Radio Shack when I got my Chuck while waiting for batteries but they were something like $20 - Target was around $8.

Question for experienced Chuck owners, would using 2 3.7 v cr123s be a bad idea? on a full charge I'm guessing they would be putting out over 8 volts, so it might be a lil bit too intense for the atty, and be kinda insane I would think.

Sorry we're not psychic I'll work harder on mastering that jedi mind trick stuff, I can make the dog whine now though... still looks at me funny.

Lol! I'm old fashioned - not to mention just old - so I just do the Vulcan Mind Meld. But as on in my feelble way, I can no longer manage the connection from the East Coast all the way to California - I think I fade out somewhere in the Rockies.

I think DaMulta tried it - but come to think about it again, I haven't seen him around the last few days!
