Since this thread is pretty much a free-for-all (the only things yet to be discussed are muskrat mating habits and Hmong culinary traditions), I wanna vent for a sec...

the people who say the Chuck is just a slab of copper, with no aesthetic consideration; other mods are far more sleek and polished and blahblah... if I'm not mistaken, it's the only customizable battery case out there (so far). You've got to be really devoid of f*&(%ing imagination if you fail to appreciate how kickass that is... it really annoys the crap out of me hearing these f%*&ing elitist ......s bash something that you can personalize with practically anything, instead of just looking like highly-polished aircraft aluminum. Now I'm a big fan of a couple of these other mods as well, but you can't deny what a stroke of genius this "slab of copper" really is. Okay, that was really pointless, but I feel better :D

No, I can get alot more in the oven. 4 is what I can comfortably do in a night. More if I can shoot a few of the same color at once, but that's rare.
Just wondered what the 'choke' point was, should fave known it was creation rather than implementation.
You miss the time at the chuck or is the creatiion make it hard now, I bet it does

The mirror gold.... well, a sizeable sum of $ was devoted to the plating system. We tried it once and were completely unimpressed. The manufacturer gave some tips but it's been lying in the box for a month or so now.

I have actually polished them to a near mirror finish, but 20 min in the oven outgasses the copper and you get some oxidation that dulls it a bit.

On the other end of the spectrum, I will have matte clear coat next week. I have had quite a demand for matte finishes with graphics. So now I'll have it! It will make it's debut on the camo chuck next week.
