Ok so I got home last night and threw my purse down...shortly after I thought I smelled a funny burning smell....we hunted all around the house looking for the smell..couldn't find it.......till I got up this morning and grabbed my chuck......well one of them anyways.....then I went to get lunch/snack money out of my purse for the kids this morning and remembered I had left my other lil chuck in the outside pocket......Let's just say..........

Yep that is right a nice quarter size Burnt hole on the side of my 3 day old purse

Hubby bought it for me- he said I needed a suit case but asked if that one would do? I loved it and now I have to retire it after only 3 days of use.....UNLESS....someone can tell me how to fix/patch soft leather????? I can fix the pocket with the sewing machine......could I just sew it up from the inside while I have the pocket cut open????????????
ETA: At least this time it was my purse, last time I burned something with a PV, it was skin...I had it in my sports bra and some one hugged me and hut the button....HAHA

I felt bad for you about the purse until I got to the last part lol Ouch!
Speaking of... mod goes nuts. Take the battery (3.7V LiMN) out and it's slightly warm, not hot. Test the battery and it's around 3.24-3.3V. Put it aside for a couple of hours and it's 3.52. Is the battery safe to use again?
I bought the Screwdrivers on special to tide me over. The other day the button fell off one. I put it back on and afterward it kept overheating. Fortunately it was on a nice porcelain surface in the bathroom when it went super nova so nothing was damaged. I figured out this morning that there must have been a spring that fell out when the button unscrewed. I'd only been using it for a few days and didn't have a real sense of how the button felt when I pressed it.
*Note to self: When using a new piece of equipment, play with it for a bit before using. Learn how it should feel so you'll know when it feels wrong.*

So, my group has been refreshing over 200 routers and switches all over the western states...this leaves me sitting in my chair from 6am till about 5pm everyday without a break.
Well, my chuck isn't working and it hasn't since thursday...and I can't get out to go to the post office!
I'm about to stick a 510 battery up someones rear if I don't get to the post office soon..

That would have me stark raving mad all by itself. I don't have the attention span to sit like that. I fall asleep.
Silver lining -- at least you don't still smoke analogs. When I smoked, if I had to go 11 hours with no nicotine people's lives would have been in danger.
Button issues
When I was up in Sedona I noticed the button would work sometimes and not others.

Well there might be alot of folk with 510's being stuck up somewhere. I don't have anything heavier duty except for this honkin long automatic thing 801?? I blast through a 510 battery in 20 minutes I think. I've been good, no evening analog (still at one or two in the AM) but damn am I ready for one. I need to order one of those 510 charges that sit 10 batteries at a time.
I'd end up crazier than a shthouse rat if I was glued to a chair that long each day. I guess that is why I keep finding myself back in retail, I can't sit still.
I smoked an analog today. The first one I had in 2 months.
It was really disgusting... and I'm really glad that it was!
I'm with you there WS. I've been doing electrical work in a nursing home the past two weeks and it started to make me depressed about getting those end of life years. My buddy I work with is a smoker so I thought I would try to pick the habit back up. I made it 4 puffs in before I threw it down and went back to my delicious creamsicle niquid.
My 10th grade daughter had to do a "documentary style video" for her film class about a month ago. She wanted to do it on vaping. It opens with me in the back yard smoking an analog and her approaching me about "when are you gonna quit dad? You keep saying that you are going to quit." Well, I knew I couldn't really fake the analog, that it would have to be real, and that there would be several "takes". So, I ended up smoking about one and a half, to get the shot. It was a totally nasty experience and I wasn't the same for a good month.

The video turned out pretty good. Some day I will post it somewhere. Darn close to 50 minutes though.

Fortunately I haven't touched one since.I've had some temptations, moments when I thought I'd love a cigarette, but as long as they're not around, vaping lets me put off going to the store. And, if I can put it off for about 3 minutes, sanity returns and I prefer vaping once again.
